Hey, I'm new here and I have a couple of questions regarding the tiering of League of Legends. I noticed that in some versus threads people refer to both gameplay and lore for character feats and stats, even though they're entirely seperate entities. This quote from the Dev Blog highlights what I mean (I am still unsure of how to use the quoting function so bear with me):
"Good question!
No, Summoners, the Fields of Justice and the Institute are not canon within the fictional world of Runeterra. In-game, players are still referred to as summoners - but summoners won't be part of the story.
Carnival Knights - 2 years ago"
It seems bizzare to me to refer to two different things as evidence for a character's feats. Lore and gameplay are combined even though gameplay bears no relevance to the lore anymore. I would think that with a case such as that the character's tiering and stats would be seperated based on gameplay and lore, as the gameplay is non-canon.
