Alright after careful calculation.

I think I’m leaning towards guts

Mirae can fly and stay out of range and win via better lifting strength + vine crush. But that’s kind of a more specific way for him to win.

As opposed Guts would win any other confrontation via having soul hax + regeneration negation meaning he can essentially just one shot.

Also if Mirae isn’t flying out of range of Guts’ jumping range he could lose that way as well.

Otherwise I think Gut’s skill and analytical prediction can have him avoid most of Mirae’s attacks unless Mirae is staying out of range for like the entire fight.

Although Mirae could develop some other power on the fly thanks to RE of course. Then he’d win.

Mirae's vine crush isn't a really specific way for him to win, in this case, it's in-character and something he's done multiple times in the story, but, I'll count your vote for Guts.

It’s not about the vine crush in specific. It’s more about Mirae staying out of range the entire fight, to the point where Guts can’t ever close the gap between them. That’s what I think is more specific.

I think Guts is able to avoid the vine crush considering even that like lady in the second chapter was able to avoid the same move at first while also landing a bit on him.

Mirae wasn't actually serious against her(he did say he was "trying to kill her" but he then proceeds to say he doesn't like killing humans, so we can probably infer he was holding back significantly), plus that lady also has very good analytical prediction and information analysis.

Plus, Mirae's attacks have extreme amounts of range, so, he doesn't necessarily need to always be close to Guts to hit him.

I think his superior range, his willingness to use his lifting strength advantage in-characters, alongside his mobility via flight should allow him to edge out here.

Guts can't jump as high as Mirae can fly.

Either way, I'm putting in my own vote for inconclusive.

I think both Guts and Mirae have an equivalent chance of putting each other down here. Guts has his regeneration negation, higher AP, and much higher skill, meanwhile Mirae his maneuverability, range, and the ability to restrain Guts and crush him to death. Their advantages are roughly equivalent, and I think it really depends on who gets off a killing attack first, in which it can go either way.

I feel like this is a pretty fair analysis of both characters so I'll have to vote incon for this reason.
