Couldn't he also just vaporize the Paths and Summons using a Power Stone beam (Since that can kill organic stuff)?

It can kill organic stuff but the stone didn't vaporize Iron Man so it shouldn't for Pain

The Stone can vaporize organic stuff but pretty sure due to the rule about the bigger the target the greater the power surge I don't think Pain would be vaporized considering how the stone against humans is not 5-A

He could, but Ronan was 8-A while the stone against humans is shown to not be beyond the MCU high tiers (Which would mean Pain would be oneshotted/KO'd, but not vaporized)

When did Thanos use a Power beam against other characters? I thought he mostly used Shockwaves.

He used one beam against Iron Man, and he could use the Power Stone to harm Thor

Against Iron Man the beam didn't hit anything organic
Whereas against Thor it was a small direct application to his head

I don't understand your point about vaporization, it can vaporize organic targets but this does not always happen, especially with Thanos who never used the stone to vaporize someone, why would he vaporize pain???

Hence the usage of the word "Could" which means "used to indicate possibility" wherein Thanos "Could" vaporize the Summons and Paths if he wanted to

Don't you have to be way stronger than the other to vaporize, the power stone would not be that above, especially since it's energy was barely able to block Scarlet Witch (Although that was along with the space stone)
And the fact he never used it out of all the times in Infinity War means he likely wouldn't

Well that doesn't seem to be what happened to Ronin against the Guardians
I don't think you can vaporize energy or whatever SW uses
Hence the usage of "Could"

2. He still used the energy of the power stone to try and block her attack, so if his shield is still below her, I don't think his offensive attacks which use the same energy would be that far above Pain (Considering SW is upscaling from baseline 6-C)

Noone voted for Pain yet, although some people made some arguments for him that the stealth mastery, summons, and teamwork with clones would gang up and slowly overwhelm Thanos, and the fact the clones can be revived if they die.
