Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken Discussion Thread 20

It seems to be resurrection based on type 8 immortality, if I remember it was on New Moon, right?
Right, the new moon is mentioned, but so is the dark, isolated space of the magic tower. I don't recall it being specified that the skill depends entirely on the new moon to function (only Prelix’s surprise when Rimuru mentions it). I consider these limitations of the skill, but I don’t think it depends on the new moon as an object for 'revival.

I have a question: if Prelix was erased by disintegration, how was he able to regenerate? If disintegration hit him completely and left no trace of his existence, the Absolute Immortality skill should have been destroyed along with Prelix. Does this mean the skill worked even after he was erased? Or am I misunderstanding? @CodeCCLL @Eikichi_Sensei @Astral_Trinity439
I'm at the same opinion at this as Code
While the condition for the skill true to its "Absolute" nature is that the user must not be exposed to sunlight when the regeneration is on-going. The skill functions even if their information particles are "disintegrated" for some reason, which is strange.
I'll look into it

Holy crap the Synopsis got them in bad blood already
Veldora vs Wilnas might be real

EDIT: Milim is the 2nd Gacha character
So Milim is in the story too

"their disappearance" who are "their"? Ri's subordinates or tempest's residences?
We dunno, maybe both. Event previews are generally vague, gonna have to wait until story drops.

Though judging from how it's Rimuru who follows afterwards, it's possible Milim was in the initial group, and Shion as well (but who knows, maybe he grabbed them along).

Any news for the next volume?
If you mean Volume 22, it would be released in 1~2 months, most likely. It's been a month or more since Fuze posted that he has finished it and sent it to the editing team; which usually takes around 3 months to proof-read and all that.

If you mean Volume 23, which, yes, he confirmed there will be one, then nope.

Btw Astral are u on discord?

Do you think we could give Rimuru Slime the High-Godly Resurrection/Regeneration (overtime) ability, considering what's mentioned in Volume 12 (although it's not specified how he died)? There's also the game scenes where it took him 3 years to regenerate/resurrect after his battle with Hinata (I'm not sure if these are considered canon in the wiki), and knowing that abilities can still work, like Prelix's ability (which could be considered a type 8 immortality).

Also, here we consider that Rimuru was a True Dragon from the beginning, just not "awake," since, as far as I understand, it’s not possible to evolve into a True Dragon, right?

In my opinion it is easier to make the spiritual particles or also as spiritions are necessary for the existence for the monsters / spiritual life forms and to obtain it again :V

or... just make it so that the information[by itself] that makes up astral and spiritual body is different from Information particles itself, treat the prior as info type 2 and the latter as something else....

Since I don't remember information type 2 on wiki having properties like BDE1 that info particles do

Finished the first part of the Granblue Slime Collab
It seems Milim and Veldora have the trait of being singularity due to their powers
To translate
they have Volatile Causality which allows them to choose whatever destiny or fate they choose to do and it cannot be manipulated directly but can be influenced by directly influence the character's decision in life
ACA type 4 and Fate manipulation
with resistance to Fate Manipulation and Causality manipulation

I believe that falls under new unique abilities to warrant a collab profiles

Their social intelligence is often portrayed this way to maintain the comedy element. However, it is not something that would create a disadvantage in a real battle.
to give context
They wore some artifacts that they had no idea how to work
Said artifacts copy a person using their lifeforce and magicules
The 2 first copies inherited their awareness and psyche. but the artifact keeps making more copies which are on the level but not exactly on Veldora and Milim's level (they have near identical powers and strength but their lack of psyche makes them inexperienced and using them at all)
and thanks to Veldora being a True Dragon in slime verse Sky-realm adjusted and assumed Veldora as a wedge which allowed the concept of naming to give them evolutions and powers to be inherited into Sky-realm after he was appropriated as a pillar/Wedge and their copies started naming random monsters to recreate Jura Tempest base on their memories they inherited from the 2. causing evolved monster spiking as many more copies names monsters

the copies (except 2 first 2) later all combined into one Super Dragon called MilVel which surpasses even Veldora and Milim in Magicules level and can make perfect copies of itself and use ultimate skill
It has gone out of control the entire Sky-realm had to field all their Six Dragons at once and Rimuru had to reverse engineer the artifact to wake Milim and Veldora so that they could help. but even they were unsuccessful at fully killing the Super Dragon cause of their Regeneration being so extreme and instant

Captain had to pull the blue hair 8D stats to one shot and permanently kill it since it was almost close to absorbing both weakened Veldora and Milim

All because they were so dumb to wear that thing.
A world-ending scenario because of dumbness and not malicious intent lmao

Actually Milim's "Dragon Eye", allow her to view the truth behind whatever she saw (although sometimes she sees what she wants to see). So this is more like PIS.

Does anyone know why angelic and demonic skills had an ego, like Gluttony's, which was destroyed by Hinata? Even if the skill was recreated, the ego never returned. What was the purpose of them having an ego? Any theories? @CodeCCLL @Astral_Trinity439

Honestly I don't have much opinion, Tensura Fandom (where there are a lot more interested people) is a better place to discuss these types of topics.
