Bendis' interpretation of the character can't bust planet, but otherwise he can.
Same logic with Marvel as some writers believe Daredevil is Street Class but then he survives like, 50 grenades.
If Bendis was the only Superman writer, then sure, but he isn't, he's one out of thousands, who have far higher feats in their interpretations. He's outnumbered.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't bendis write the story where Superman straight up says he can destroy the Phantom Zone if he really felt like it?
Pretty sure if you can't destroy a Planet with even a single punch, you ain't destroying an entire dimension, let alone shaking it.

Bendis' words and interpretations are meaningless when far superior writers portray Superman to be able to destroy planets and more. Hell he shattered a planet just by jumping off of it while weakened in Snyder's Justice League.

I mean Bendis can write what he wants.
Some of the best Superman stories doesn't have him splitting planets or hell, even being anything above High 8-C, so doesn't exactly matter? As long as the themes are intact he could be 9-B for all it matters.
Marvel and DC just have a vague sense of in-verse scaling, they don't believe in tiering within stories as stated by 70 writers (even Stan Lee said characters who the writers want to win, win, and he's fine with that), so they follow the simplistic "X<Y<Z" system, with these characters still vaguely being able to harm the opponent.

Bendis is completely right about this. Superman without equipment or power amplifications have never ever destroyed a planet with a single punch (if we are talking about Post-Silver Age).

Also, just or the sake of argument, just because he's never destroyed a Planet via punches (which he has, but bare with me) that doesn't mean he can't. He has plenty of feats to suggest he can dish out tons more damage than Planetary level, and characters who are comparable to him also have Solar System level feats at bare minimum. Him punching Darkseid and causing an entire Solar System to shake it already far above planet level.
And maybe Superman doesn't destroy planets because he's a good guy and doesn't go out of his way to cause unneccesary destruction? As far as i know, pre Battle of Gods Goku never actively destroyed a planet by himself, but that doesn't mean he can't do it, or has fought people that could easily do it and has scaled higher than them, because it's not really in Goku's character nor his benefit to destroy an entire Planet for no reason or to flex on people. Good guys tend to have lower end outright destructive feats because they try to contain destruction, not inflict. it.

In first scan Supes destroys nonknown size planet due to acceleration. In second scan he is pushing mini Solar System, no punches. In third scan Supes is hitting ALMOST har enough to destroy SMALL planet. In fourth scan we is no punches too. Man, I am talking about punches, not lifting strength, pls understand that)

Yeah, so not only are several of these from early on in the Post-Crisis continuity (3 of the nuke ones are from the Byrne era and slightly after) before Superman hit his full potential so they’re useless to use against him, but a few are straight up OOC. Like the image of Pit Bull breaking his arm was confirmed to made up by the press, dude never even hit Superman
