Holy shit Hero looks rad. Also glad that Square weren't as stringy with DQ music as they were with FF (That 2 song limit still induces immense pain to this day ;_;). Looking forward to trying him very soon.

So he put two songs in for each Hero.

Why is my boy Cloud getting shafted?

And what the **** is up with Square Enix being so stingy with their music?

I am pretty sure its two songs for each Hero - so from their games, and two my knowledge DQIX is not apart of the lineup.

So no, sorry.

Okay, but honestly though.

The Hero looks stupid good and comes out the day before my birthday?

It's Fate, I am maining this character.

At the very least is more than what Cloud got. But no joke, why is SE in such refusal with music?

Come to think of it, does the Hero bring Spirits from the DQ series to the game or got screwed over like Cloud in that regard?

Hero got spirits.

Everyone else: "Wow, Hero looks so good!"

Me: "MUST! HAVE! SLIME HAT!!!"

I already see people complaining and he ain't even out yet, lmao. Calling him the new MK or Bayo.

People don't understand that RNG works both ways. For example, yeah, Zoom looks busted - but if you don't get the right list, the only way to change lists would be to air dodge which just certifies death. Why would you risk it?

Not to mention, all of the Hero's special moves use magic as well and he has a limit on the amount of magic he can do. Then throw frame data, and it easy to see this character isn't going to be that ridicious.

He's way more balanced than believed.

Anyone happen to know the time he comes out?

July 30 today though

I haven't bought his DLC yet, how does his magic work?
Here's the video.

All of his specials use magic and Up, Side, and Neutral Special are chargeable and have three different levels.

His down special is the command menu that summons a list of four spells that the Hero has. Which list pops up is random and can be canceled with the shield button.

Each spell is different and costs a different amount of magic, but the amount of specials the Hero has is insane.

Watch the video for more info.

It's believe that he will come out around 9 P.M. E.S.T on July 30th.

In Europe, it will probably sometime throughout the night, so July 31st - my birthday.

This doesn't take into account another possible server crash that the Hero might cause, like what happened with Joker.

@Warren: Dude, the Hero is looking sick! Though as you say, the command selection seems much harder to use in practice during the heat of the battle. But some of the effects are pretty darn powerful so it's kinda understandable some are concerned before seeing it's rather hard to pull.

Don't get me wrong, I think the Hero is going to be really good - but I don't think he's Brawl MK or Smash 4 Bayonetta level broken because he has a ton of OP moves.

I've seen tons of people demand he be banned before he even comes out, its ridiculous.

Apparently, Leffen said it as a meme and a bunch of Smash fans took him seriously...
I'm not talking about Leffen's joke petition - I am talking about tons of people who say that they want the Hero banned.

</s>Inb4 Hero has awful frame data on everything else and is bottom tier</s>

He can be pretty good without being broken though. He seems to have everything to work out. What's left to see is how well the MP management and command menu work out in practice.

And lol, the sheer amount of salt and rage quits that his critical hits will lead to.

Honestly, the Hero looks amazing to me. His selection screen will take some getting used to, but I can learn it, like Shulk's Monado Arts.

Imagine Full Rage + Oomph/Physce Up + Critical Hit Fully-Charged Forward Smash.

That might just be the strongest move in the game.

Flare blade does like 50% or 60% damage when fully charge.

In the video, Sakurai did an uncharged Critical Hit Up-Smash (without rage or any strength buffs) and the move did like 41% damage.

Add in the strength multipliers and the Hero's Smash attacks easily become like the strongest moves in the game.

I don't really like the random crit thing but the other stuff's neat

Isn't current strongest move Rest, which does 70ish damage over time? Skewer does 60 all at once
