Tbh I always felt like it was a possibility. ONE explicitly showed Metal Knight recovering Boros' ship, implying that it would be significant in the future. And obviously in doing so he would stumble upon Boros' body. I wasn't certain about it but I knew that it could happen. Why not the best of both worlds? Genos loses to or stalemates Boros in a very high-difficulty fight to show how Boros is a monster even after all these years while Genos can stand against such a monster. Then we scale both from Genos' other fights. There is no way The Organization doesn't have something that will surpass the previous feats.Boros going from losing to Saitama to losing to Saitama's disciple is pretty fitting and is a good way to show Genos' growth...though I hate the idea of the GOAT becoming a jobber just to hype up a deteurtagonist. Everyone becomes a jobber to Saitama. But jobbing to Genos?
