STRONGEST One-Punch Man Discussion Thread!

By the way, is the limiters page gonna be a thing soon or
should I try to create it myself? I think if done right then we could give the entire verse accelerated development via recovering from near death (or actually dying, like Phoenix man does)
it would make zombieman matches more interesting, that’s for sure.
 
I can also imagine how a potential limiters page would lead to all sorts of 3-A or High 3-A revision threads
 
Cosmic garou should be able to copy 3-A tbh, probably could go higher too but people don’t understand nlf
garou himself even says he would copy limitlessly, and there’s really no indication that Saitama was gonna stop growing exponentially
it seems more headcanon to just say there’s a limit there when in-universe there’s explicitly no limit
but people can’t handle the idea of garou being able to adapt gg to dbs angels
 
Personally, up to universal makes sense to me.

Limitless power could in theory mean 'limitless power within an infinite universe', since you're stacking infinities after that
 
Copying limitlessly =/= copy limitless power, one implies continuous action which means he can never reach High 3-A until he shows he can do the latter. Saitama himself clearly doesn't have infinite power as he's growing still. Infinite potential is more likely.

So no, Garou can't adapt gg DBS Angels

Right. For example, the ongoing fight vs Hulk where we have a x100~ difference.

No in-verse reason Garou couldn't just copy a baseline 3-C character when he's already very high end 4-A at a minimum with a demonstrated exponential growth curve

saitama is 3-A high,also in a official poblication information is see that saitama has infinite strenght(another 3-A high over there)

well if you let him copy a 3-C character, then you’d have to let him copy 3-A as well
the wiki goes with the cowardly downplay option of course and says he can’t copy anything beyond his own 4-A, so copying does nothing unless you’re using his 5-A or high 4-C key

Wiki standard for power amps I guess
I asked a mod here and they said so, although, I don’t recall them having a source, but knowing how we treat everything else I’m sure that rule does exist

Right and while I don't agree, I'm not here to argue the point. I'm just saying I imagine his copying ability would easily cover a gap like that even if we can't substantiate it according to the wiki's standards.
 
Tbh, Garou should be able to copy at the very least a power gap as big as the one between his pre-SSSP^2 and the SSSP^2, as that's the thing he has demostrated to copy

Which would imply he’d be able to copy that difference again, and then again, so he’d still be able to reach 3-A
which means he would be able to copy 3-A to begin withb
 
I was about to write something similar. He would be 2 copies away from 3-A with the first copy being pretty into 3-B
 
garou jumped from 4-c to 4-a just by looking and copying saitama lol
Ofc he can copy a 3-a character, his mimicry ability is definetely limtless
saitama only defeated him because when garou was copying saitama to defend himself, saitama was already stronger than that version which garou copied, it's simply.
at one point garou just couldnt keep up with that much damage he received during the fight, and his spirit was breaking aswell.

if saitama's first move was already 3-a, pretty sure garou would be able to copy it.
 
trying to cap garou at 4-a when garou HIMSELF said he could keep copying characters as much as he wants (and as long as he dont run out of stamina by taking alot of damage) is a really lowball.
but every single character is lowballed here, so, i wont even try
 
The last CRT that attempted this got like unanimous staff rejection so I wouldn’t recommend trying again unless you’ve got really convincing arguments
 
All we really need is an interview or guidebook statement of limiter breaking being infinite or beyond infinite potential
which is inevitably going to be what the author intended, regardless of the standards here, so there’s a higher chance of it going through in the future

versus is already low multiversal in range,in the first chapter,this is using magic for summoning and aparently the idea was to summon another world,that is different of that world.

I can see that happening if a Databook of the MA Arc comes out tbh

Along with an statement of Garou having the power of the whole universe which would make 3-A Garou the New 5-B Boros
 
I’d be fine with a sp^2 statement saying that galaxies were destroyed or that they punched through the entire universe, either one would make it well into 3-B
 
Also 5-B boros is just canon idc was y’all have to say
if calc stacking can get 5-C boros then 5-B csrc is the chad option, clearly
