Listen, we’re focused on the wrong things my friend. This chapter just confirmed Blast’s portals are instant. This means Saitama and Garou clashed fists faster than instant.
Blast was faster than saitama and Garou in that clash tho.

So much so that it is still his best feat by leagues and bounds.

Also next chapter is next week. Tonarinoyj the very last page says wait for Next update: January 1st

Which means redraw is possible as well though
I think it’s the New Years illustration that Murata does every year

Blasts best feats are also speed related. Dude has reacted to the fastest characters like nothing. Even with void, when he was making hands signs, Blast pulled his hand trick while void was in the middle of nearly teleporting.

Blasts is so dope.

I love him and hate him at the same time.

Dude is just written to be stupid as to not show case everything.

My love-hate relation for him is insane.

Why do ppl thinks Blast is fodder? Hell, even in brazilian OPM community ppl calls him "buxa" (our specific way to call something fodder)
Cause he lets shit happens to himself all the time.

Sure, we have context now that he was holding back, but because of that we also know he has fought 2 cosmic tier beings while suppressing himself their level.

Dude basically has being written to be kinda dumb.

Maybe they’ll justify it later, but right now I don’t see any justification for how dumb he has let himself be done dirty by void and how he failed against cosmic Garou.

List of every L Blast has taken (so far):

  • His best friend, Void, never even trusted him.
  • Despite being one of the first and most powerful heroes, he couldn't even fully kill Elder Centipede.
  • His wife, Luna, was just a part of Void's plan to investigate him.
  • Had a child with his spy wife. Still just a part of the plan.
  • His wife died.
  • His (perceived) best friend died.
  • He's an absent father.
  • Doesn't even protect the Earth anymore.
  • Trained for 15 years, yet still can't do anything but spam the same 3 techniques. Including the same "Dimensional Cannon" he had 15 years ago.
  • Couldn't save the Earth from a single God Avatar who hadn't even gained the full potential of his power (Garou).
  • Literally created Cosmic Empty Void (Another threat to the Earth), because he wasn't paying attention.
  • Pulls a "Nah, I'd win" against Empty Void. Immediately gets stomped and has his arm is sliced off.
  • Pretty much loses his only other useful technique (teleportation).
  • Literally would've died (for a second time) if Saitama didn't save him.
  • Uses his "final move" to try and merge with Void - literally wanting to commit suicide, and prioritizing Void's life over his own. It fails. Instead, he simply gets to see the memories of Void, learning of how many Ls he has truly taken in life.

I gotta be real, Blast fans... it hasn't been a good run. I really hope they give him SOMETHING. PLEASE. CAN HE JUST TAKE A SINGLE W?
His wife, Luna, was just a part of Void's plan to investigate him. He made it a W
Had a child with his spy wife. Still just a part of the plan. Same, made it a W
He's an absent father. Can't see the L here.
Pretty much loses his only other useful technique (teleportation). Nah.
Uses his "final move" to try and merge with Void - literally wanting to commit suicide, and prioritizing Void's life over his own. It fails. Instead, he simply gets to see the memories of Void, learning of how many Ls he has truly taken in life. Was already aware.

Ok I think i know what Void did with the panel of him making a hole for god's power to pour out and over towards what seem to be 'monsters'.

absorbing garou's powers apparently freed void from god's will, so what if thats what he's doing here? Created some sort of gathering for other god avatars to join by tricking em then forcefully let god's power out from his body. A power that had been tainted by garou's nature and allowed void to return to conciousness and presumably, everyone who was in the aforementioned meeting as well.

Timeline wise, im still not sure. Maybe his new more humanish look is the result after the last panel in the new chapter where his monster form is getting burned?

He didn't do it. It's his plan to do it.

This is a very interesting chapter; what I love the most is Empty Void and Blasts' quotes at the mid-end (Void was wondering if Blast knew about Maya's scheme, however, Blast said he likes "strong people" and didn't care regardless about her plan), which tempted Void to throw away his ego and use the "darkness" to create agents against God.

I really wonder if "darkness" is just a form of space-time manipulation:
1. Divine light is useless against the darkness (similar to how light can't escape a black hole.)
2. Garou, who had "darkness", was able to distort the space around the Earth with Extreme Fa-Jin.

My theory on why this works against God is because he's in a world beyond the laws of physics (and his dimension ignoring energy, size, and distance is a good pointer), however, he's still vulnerable to it by claiming an essence in the normal universe (like MCU Dormammu, who's beyond time but still capable of getting affected by it.)
