That upscaling thread? I've seen that, it may kill a lot of OPM tiers since OPM has a LOT of it's tiers due to upscaling Dragon level threats. Downscaling may also possibly get butchered because of that.

The upscaling CTR by Damage has mostly been rejected. Most people agree upscaling should still exist, there will just be proper guidelines now.

We should be fine.

The accepted value for upscaling seems to be 1.5x

So if someone upscales massively and the gap between them and the next tier is 1.5x or less, upscaling to the baseline of the next tier is fine.

That's pretty much what everyone's been following anyway lol

This one. The only calc of it I can see somehow got 7-C results and it needs to be redone with cloud scaling or curvature of the earth. It looks like the explosion is at least 100km wide, possibly much more

I swear to god I remember someone calcing it to be around High 6-B. Might be worth to try it again.

Pretty sure that was called at 6-B or High 6-B. It was just lost somewhere in this thread...

The thing is using the Earth's curvature wanks the feat because it's heavily exagerrated.

I did, I'm more leaning towards no because I feel like the 500 meter distance has to account for shockwaves and people moving into the danger zone, so it has to be larger than the actual fireball radius.

Not that it's impossible though

Uhhh... Why would you be stupid? I just personally find one of the ends to be less likely, don't take my opinion on which end works better to be an indictment against your intelligence.

There's nothing absurd about the end as far as I know. Could you elaborate a little more on what you're thinking?

I doubt it even reaches 7-A, at best I think it would reach 7-B, which could upgrade a lot of Dragons uwu

Let's say it gets like baseline low 7-B results.
That would at least have to be halved because Tatsumaki is contributing to at least half of the storm.

i have a serious question. if you could choose one of these options, which would you go for?

1) the current MA arc in the manga
2) the webcomic MA arc but with the manga artwork. in other words, basically murata just redrawing the webcomic MA arc but changing absolutely nothing.

i would EASILY go with the second choice. i hate how ONE changed the story so much. adding ******* transformers battles and whatnot. i could go on and on for like an hour about why the manga MA arc sucks compared to the webcomic MA arc, in terms of story quality at least.

Personally prefer the current MA arc more, I love its far greater sense of scale and the back and forth that the association had with the heroes.

I prefer the addition of the new stuff in MA like psykorochi and orochi. I generally prefer the manga version. However I think the webcomic does have better pacing than the Manga. The manga feels slow at times.

Reactive Power Level in of itself is a specific form of statistics amplification anyway.
