Yeah, I think most of the more broken abilities are from higher keys.

I'll add them both anyway, though I also believe that more of their busted techniques come from their higher keys. After dragon gains the infinity core for the first time and such.

Is Arthur even a good choice tho? He looks strong, but his stuff really doesn't seem insane enough to be among the strongest of a tier.

I'm just adding whomever folk believe to be a contender. While it is about finding out who's the strongest, I'm not going to reject any character for being "too weak." That'll be determined in the brackets.

It's for fun anyway, so I'm not going to reject anyone's picks.

99% sure the dudes spatial barrier also blocks mindhax.

Why would a spatial barrier block mind hax? Mind hax doesn't travel through space in most cases.

Nor does Voodoo, or teleportation for the matter.

That is the point of his spatial barrier.

The Voodoo was really more of a power null. And teleportation was more like, "you can't teleport into my space." Both of which make sense.

Blocking mind hax with space hax makes no real sense here. Nor has it ever shown that. Like if, say, Nihilus wanted to mindhax Seeker while the latter had his barrier up, the Seeker would get mind haxed.

When has voodoo ever been used in the gamer? He just flaunts that nothing that he doesn't allow can get in, not even voodoo.

Something metaphysical like mindaltering effects being displaced are hardly impressive for him, since he already does it with things like aoe magic nullification. And doing the equivalent of deflecting power null with the power it nulls, without resisting the power null, makes no more sense to be honest.

I mean, voodoo just seems like body puppetry. It normally has little to do with the mind and everything to do with controlling the body through a doll.

What? Do you mean he's just deflecting abilities but can't resist power null himself? It doesn't make sense that someone can deflect power null unless they have it themselves, otherwise their deflection would get nulled.

That is litirally what he did with Han's power null.

It nullifies his magic just fine, but is simply unable to reach him.

He reflected Han's powernull without being resistant himself? That makes no sense though. In order to reflect an attack that literally is meant to nullify other abilities, there has to be something about said reflection that allows it to go unaffected by something trying to negate what it can do.

Still, that doesn't apply to mindhax in general at all. There's nothing to reflect with most mindhax. Take Kyanchome and Parco Folgore for example. They would just hijack his mind, no space traversed, not physical or spiritual thing to be reflected, just a spell cast.

That... is litirally what he did. He was powernulled when caught in the magic nulling, but he's space just deflected it. And mindhax is far from unnatural enough to really say that that is the one thing he forgot about when he said that nothing can get through his shields unless he wills them. And voodoo has no real traveltime either, that is why he brags about being able to deflect that too.

Voodoo also isn't mind manip though.

I mean, that sort of logic feels NLFish. I'd rather we just wait for feats, or statements at the very least. Especially since we don't know what Voodoo magic in verse even consists of.

Space deflecting powernull despite not being able to nullify power null...makes no sense. The space would've had to have had some degree of resistance. Or there might have just been a unique interaction between Han's way of power nullification and space that allowed such to occur.

It making no sense isn't exactly the highest priority when faced with litiral magic. And it deflecting stuff like clairvoyance, or most of it at least, is also weird. But meh, we'll get to see him and co. in a bit.
