I wouldn't mind that even. The very earliest entry of the Steampunk Series.

Tbh, MG doesn't have that a lot lot ish to work with after Sona Nyl. They got Valusia, Tyrhia, and Celenaria. Inganock and Sharnoth is technically there, but there's already an ENG patch for it and I'm sure they're likely aware of them existing so even taking those two out, they got three more VN's to dish out.

I think it's a toss up between those three others at this point. It's just hard to say when they'll make another VN announcement. Could be in May, around Summer time, or late as August like Sona Nyl was? Or Sona Nyl was in July back then...

We'll just have to see.

Also, I should note this since I've been brain rotting over here with JP text stuff.

I actually updated the text for Sharnoth's Doujinshi short stories.

Surprisingly, the CN version I did was pretty spot on ish with OG JP (although I will admit it was s*** only cuz I don't do CN) but it's pretty much the same. Well, aside from the fact I botched up quite a bit on certain lines, one of them was the usage of "Pitch Black" being what the CN ver is read as while JP is Jet Black? Though thing is, the doujin I got that have certain pages in English words actually translate "Shikkoku no Sharnoth" as "Sharnoth of Pitch Black".

IDK, it's kinda this and that for me. I've been so used to reading out Shikkoku as "Jet Black" that even seeing it in the actual doujin in JP is kinda weird to me. Tbf, it's probably fitting given that jet black is like the darkest shade of the color black you can get. Or at least one of the darkest. Although Pitch black is another expression for having a really dark shade of the color. Eh, don't matter to me either way.

Now, onto actually getting my brainrot to doing the magazines owo.

I don't remember that. All I know is that Dagon, an Old One under Cthulhu had this feat:

Not gonna getting a debate about what Berta identifies as, but anyway she is pretty close to Walther, was wondering if it ever became romantic in Shining Nights. Gahkthun had some loose ends, like having Izumi finally confessing her heritage, also wanted more Neon x Tesla.

Speaking of that, I remember something about Neon and Tesla getting married years ago, some sort of event? Wonder if any material came from that, side stories, art etc.

There's other entries on the other Shintai that had a few more being said to be the mightiest among the Shintai, but Cthulhu should be in the upper tiers of them with what little info is there.

And for reference sake, Kadath is a big planet who we don't have a lot of info on its full size, but we have tad bits of it like Valusia blog glossary on Steampunk setting says that the "Unknown World" of Kadath (the part where there's still a blue sky and sea being clean...I think. The sky is clearly blue for them there) has 4 times the area of Seikyo's (Earth), and Inganock's glossary even points out that the continent where said city setting is on is larger than the America's alone so they're a big planet for sure.

From the CG's I saw off an H-site (OWO), it's actually from some golden ornaments on its belt that shoots out some beams of light or smth that does that. I think Mycroft can confirm that when they get back on here.

Also, yeah the thing that seemingly did Tesla in was some spear that's supposed to kill Old Ones and stuff like that, yet Tesla got res'd cuz of Neon and the 100k students of Gahkthun's help owo.

Yeah, somehow the concept and phenomena shattering hands do less damage than the spear lol.

Also need to add type 2 info erasure/manipulation to messengers, nothingness in WAB is not only a lack of physical stuff, but also lack of the data/information fundamental to your existence. Messengers destroy things metaphysically, and as we see with the 6th, NY residents were absorbed into the Cracking Effect itself, and it's Cracking which is the power that shape the Underground. Can basically say being destroyed metaphysically is why the residents are now non-existent.

Apparently GK ALSO had a humanoid form of sorts for the setting, but for whatever reason, we never got to see it, only the rosy mask we got. TBF, it's not like Golden King is really that limited to either form. He has a humanoid like form described in one of the Sona Nyl magazines I got, he took control of an Engine Human mentioned in Gahkthun lore, also has a human form of sorts in Celaphis worldline and can assume so for Karashrer since he also exists there (or a variant at least), and whatever this mech thing he has that he took up control with in one short story Sakurai wrote of him and Leo fighting off the bay of France or smth...

Also, interesting how the bell just unwraps itself like that. Guessing that's part of the scene when Neon was being sacrificed to the Bell?

The Bell absorbs the life/spirit of Golden Eye Users, so GK can assume his Ultharathotep form. Didn't bring it up in the Gahkthun CRT's cause the GK we see has already matured, so doesn't really absorb stuff anymore.

So Cthulhu's salt beam are pretty much light speed attack speed I imagine and has a sure hit curse that the arms also have. But both are better than one thing over the other, which the arms are in being able to land hits while the salt beam has higher attack power and AoE. This is of course not really getting into what each can do (phenomena and concept shattering vs salt transmutation).

By the sounds of that, it means Tesla couldn't avoid the hands but surely can against Cthulhu's light beams just cuz of the sure hit curse of the latter being not quite as absolute as the arms are.
