So not only can he copy powers, but he now gets a resistance to them

Perfect Chaos should be at least 2-C scaling to Generations base Sonic, not Low 2-C arbitrarily scaling to Phantom King

Like everyone is saying: this is absolutely peak. And as I was praying for prior to the release of the first trailer, Sonic 3 looks like it's going to be a bit more edgy and dark compared to Sonic 1 and 2.

Of course I'm not saying that it's going to be all gloomy and edgy, but it looks like that the people of this movie are treating Shadow's character and backstory with genuine respect as opposed to making light of it.

Personally I don’t think Perfect Chaos or Metal Overlord should have the 2-C rating. We wouldn’t give that rating to the Death Egg Robot, Biolizard or Classic Metal since it would cause circular scaling, and both PC and MO are narratively treated the exact same way as those bosses.

Kinda feels like old news to talk about Gens now that the movie trailer is out lol

I was thinking the same! A Jotaro/DIO and Zero/X type situation, perhaps.
 
I find it interesting how Shadow's CC time stop gauge gets locked when he's inside Doom's new version of Westopolis🤔

I think this actually implies he copies a person's powers and gains resistances to them as-such. It would explain why not all CC users resist, and why he uses the dialogue he does. This would make Neo Metal absolutely cracked

Is this something we can already reliably conclude or just a possibillity that requires more evidence to be reliably assumed
 
Does Bowser's side have a good method of "information gathering"? Sage can suck people into Cyber Space and gain information from their memories passively, from then on, and Neo Metal copying Biodata copies all of a person, including their knowledge.

This seems to me as something we can reliably conclude.

I don't mean to sound big-headed, but like... nothing else apart from what I say makes sense UNLESS they're retconning Chaos Control being able to affect Supers. However;
  • This is an even bigger leap of faith
  • We'd need to wait for another Base character to use Chaos Control on a Super-level baddie.
All this to say, Neo Metal copying resistances (A) Requires the least amount of assumptions made (B) Aligns with the dialogue of the character itself.

He has means of information analysis, such as Tippi, but the Phantom Ruby resists information analysis, so Bowser is way more limited than Eggman

Sage is also far better at info analysis. She was able to run millions of simulations on the final battle and figured out the best chance of success, compared to Tippi, who isn't nearly as capable in terms of application of data. It doesn't help that, canonically, Eggman makes his shit weirdly to make it harder to break into or analyze, if I remember correct from Tails' when he tries to break into Eggman's tech.
 
Alright seriously, please no more discussion Movie 3 Spoilers through leaks or in general until after the movie comes out. I'd rather not get spoiled. I know that some people put the Spoiler Tag within their posts, but the replies to some of them do not have Spoiler Tag present.
