Because that encompasses most of her attacks as opposed to one specific attack on one weapon of his
That implies that both characters choose their attacks randomly and don't make descisions on what to use first.

It is more likely for Nui to attack at all than it is for Sigurd to decide to use a specific weapon.

Because for it to be equally likely it'd need to be a consistent opening as any of Nui's attacks can do her thing whereas he is relegated to one

Except when you have an ability that tells you information on the opponent what you normally start off with doesn't matter because you'll change your first move to fit the situation.

Nah it matters because to do that you've gotta take a second to process the information and decide something whereas your opponent can just hit you like normal without needing any extra thought

It still takes some amount of time for him to chose to do that over something else. While he is doing his thing her attack has already started, and the small margin of time in between is meaningful enough for her to come out on top more often then not. ALso, if he can do that, why not just always use the 6-C attack? Even if they're weak better to just nuke them off the bat then to waste time. Also from what's above it sounds like that sort of stuff won't work so well on nui as is.

Except for the fact that he can respond too? He can literally just take a step back and do it, it's not like he has to stand still and process the information while being attacked.Because the 6-C attack is not always needed to win, he's starting off with it because he needs it to win not because he doesn't want to waste time. No one has disagreed with the 6-C attack pulping the 7-A Nui.

@Weekly
Gram is comparable to Excalibur, which burned every atom of the Cthulhu monster's flesh in Fate/Zero.

What's Nui's best feat?
And i wrote "If it connects" or not? Didnt imply that it will.

You can dodge in speed equal. Also by the looks of it the attack has a bit of charge time and travels in a linear direction, at least according to the gif on the page.

Sigurd unleashes the full power of Gram as an Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm by launching the daggers that compose Gram at his foe, which proceed to strike them from all directions and scatter flames as Sigurd punches the main sword at his opponent.

"all directions"
