i happen to be very knowledgeble in dragon ball i just have bad grammar alot of the time.
Yes, I do not mean to cause offence. I am just saying that there seemed to be a risk that the staff members would ignore your request.

I think the pages are fine as they are, but I don't mind any of the merges

Promestein said she agrees with me and Kepekley; about moving Filler/Anime/Movies to GT and renaming it to Dragon Ball (Toei). She said so on her wall.

Okay. I think that Kepekley's and Medeus' suggestion seems to have support then.

any reason why cant they be merged in one page? dragonball is all one big franchise like marvel, dc comics, pokemon etc that also have one page

I am not against a merger of the verse pages. However, we must make it extremely clear that GT is non-canon to the manga, so that newcomers and such won't get confused. We have to keep those unfamiliar with the verse in mind.

I can get behind merging the two verse pages together. Heck, we do have an entire section of the dragon ball page dedicated to the video game characters, which are non canon, It wouldn't be that much of a stretch to add the GT characters as well.
^ Yes.

Well, I currently think that Kepekley's idea seems better.

Would we also be moving games or would that remain in the og dragon ball page?

I am not sure. Sorry.

If we move the game characters, we'd call it Dragon Ball (Non-Canon) or Dragon Ball (Extended Universe) rather than Dragon Ball (Toei). Which would also include Dragon Ball Evolution or Spin off characters like Neko Majin Z.

I think it's better to focus on making Dragon Ball (Toei) like Kepekley is working on. At least for now.

If we are separating the toei part, it's better to separate all the non-canon stuff along with it and leave the og page just for canon DB alone imo.

The main reason is that Toei is literally just one continuity, where as other non-canon stuff are a little on the short lived side. Kind of like CDI Mario and Zelda. The Xeno games are a different story. I should note that DC Animated Universe and DC Extended Universe are both seperated from DC Comics verse page. As well as Marvel Cinematic Universe and Marvel Animated Universe being separate from Marvel's. Both Marvel and DC also do have still have other non-canon characters listed on their pages. Just that Animated and movie are big enough continuities to warrant their own pages.

Dragon Ball's the same case for GT/Toei getting its own page.

So, should we create a "Dragon Ball (Extended Universe)" page instead?

toei is not one continuity because movies have no plot relation with one another and different writers and designers for the characters and as well as not having any statement saying it is one aside from toriyama saying he's a guest in these projects theirs nothing saying their is a continuity between these different media of the dragon ball mythos

I think (Non-Canon) would be better, it's better to separate the canon continuity from the Non-Canon ones [Including Z Anime, Movies (And the stuff connected to them like Neko Majin), Evolution and GT].

Okay. That seems fine to me.

toei is not one continuity because movies have no plot relation with one another and different writers and designers for the characters and as well as not having any statement saying it is one aside from toriyama saying he's a guest in these projects theirs nothing saying their is a continuity between these different media of the dragon ball mythos

The movies were all written by the same person. And Toriyama's opinion is not relevant, he has no involvement in the anime's plot.

And the games should be included in the main page, considering Xenoverse and Heroes are based on Dragon Ball Super.

Xenoverse 1 came out before Super, and the game that all kf time patrol stuff is from, Dragonball Online, is from even befote Battle of Gods

But both have elements from the non-canon dbz like Bardock, GT and the other movie villains. Fighterz is def. based on Super/Canon continuity.

Even if they have, including games that have post-Toei elements on the page wouldn't do well. I disagree personally.

We should honestly merge the DBGT profiles with the Toei ones given how DBGT is the direct sequel to DBZ Toei.

Well, I am fine with what the other staff members decide.

argeed i think a non canon page would be better if a separtion is needed but im still on the verdict its a huge fransice like marvel or dc and has multible continuitys due to such as well other anime have different contuintys as well such as yugioh and digimon whose canons have no relanvance to one another yet are at one page and the outline for super was a two movies and not written by toriyama

fun fact bardock appeared in manga before minus as oneshot because toriyama liked his character and the circumstances up to his death are unknown in the manga but his character closely matched in apperace and personaity to one shown in the bardock father of goku special and fightez is a video game has no relance and movies were never canon as for filler i argee with exctions here or there as for gt i have a differrent option on that

again your wrong most of movies were written by Takao Koyama but not all like tree of might who was written by Keiji Terui and and dragon ball mystical adventure was written by Yoshifumi Yuki to name a few others that made these movies to disprove their made by one person

@Missy0124 you were already told not to spam long quotes; and don't triple post either. Anyway, Janemba's movie just about has shown just about every other DBZ movie is canon to that movie at least. Literally various villains for each other movie makes an appearance. As well as Wrath of the Dragon being canonically where Trunks gets his Sword according to the GT continuity. Additionally, while a long time ago, the movies were stated to take place in parallel worlds, GT was stated to merge all those parallel worlds together much later on. We already had multiple long discussion talking about it.

Also, when Goku and Vegeta fuse in GT, they say the same identical thing as they did in Fusion Reborn. And Vegeta knew the Fusion Dance as if he did it before when Fusion Reborn could have been the only time. Proving Fusion Reborn being canon. Cooler also appearing in GT also proves Cooler's canonicity to GT.

I agree with the merged for my previous reasons stated here.

Nutshell:

  • Dragon Ball Super Anime is Toei's adaptation with Toyama's supervision and approval.
  • Dragon Ball Super the Movies are the canon continuity made by Toriyama himself.
  • Dragon Ball Super Manga created by Toyotaro has more involvedment from Toriyama than the anime from toei animation. Toriyama's supervision, drawing skills (He drew Jiren in the manga), ideas and involvement in the manga is more fluent then when it comes to the anime.

yea they had a cameo that does not equal them being canon to gt and wrath of dragon im open to argee if you can provide evidence to say it is the same and there is a issue with the writers being different and overall having a different staff and saying its canon without proof is headcanon to say the least and the cameo of cooler and co is just that a cameo

i argee with the merge and your points given on such and the movie is a sequel to the show so that would make the show canon if the movie none the less great points on your part

Wrath of the Dragon is canon to GT since Goku has the Dragon Fist and Videl wears her Great Saiyaman outfit, which appeared only in that movie.

having a dragon fist as move does not make wrath of dragon canon if that were case broly from super and movies would be the same as well and the great saiyanwoman also appeaered in z in a filler epiode and in fusion reborn
