SF Cannon Spike, Canon or Not?

As mentioned in the title, I was wondering if the Cannon Spike spin off game would be considered "canon" (or secondary/tertiary canon) to the Street Fighter series

Cannon Spike originals like Shiba or Simone canonically exist within the SF-verse as members of Cammy's Delta Red squad, and apparently Cammy and Charlie will reference the game within their respective Cannon Spike alt-costumes

It is important to note that "Arthur" isn't actually the same guy from Ghouls and Goblins, he's a dude piloting a futuristic knight mech suit.

While BB Hood and Megaman are their actual counterparts, they don't actually interact with other characters and are more or less just hidden options. They're likely just fun bonus characters not meant to be taken seriously.

It isn't canon, mostly because it's not featured in the timelines of guidebooks, game collections, websites and so on, on top of not being referenced anywhere in the story.

OG being introduced in the mains series makes them new versions of those characters, just like Karin having her origins in the manga Sakura Ganbaru, just to be then added to the games.
The Shadaloo CRI does this even with some other minor characters from other series, sometimes introducing them as minor canon characters, other times specifying their non-canonical nature, such as with "future Ken", MvC characters, Code Holders, SF EX characters and so on.

Alternate costumes also mean nothing, they are references, just like crossover, nostalgia etc... costumes.
