Seven Deadly Sin Revisions(Speed)

I
Speed is distance / time, so I don’t get why ‘literally the speed of a flash of light’ would refer to a timeframe.
the “timeframe” being mentioned was just part of what I used to explain my point

my point: how do we know it’s not a description of how fast light suddenly goes on and off. If that wasn’t the case I would see it as an hyperbole, although the rebuttal being the word “literally”

There have been below SoL speeds depicted as, literally, flashes of light throughout fiction.

Anyways, what are your thoughts on the SoL proposal?

Because a flash of light, in and of itself, doesn’t have a set timeframe. Why would Nabaka use an utterly meaningless metric of speed?

If he said ‘Ludoshel moves like a flash of light’, even that’s a little obvious given common comparisons (ie. like a bat out of Hell, or lightning), but I could see your point. However, as you admit, it says literally.

By context, the wording, etc, this line of thought just doesn’t make sense.

I haven’t seen it. What’s your proposal?

It’s from the Japanese raws of the chapter. It’s pink because some of the chapters on the raw sites are pink, and the English translators also remove chapter/character summaries.

I’ll try find them tomorrow.

So Here are the people I think should scale to the sub relativistic calc

  1. Meliodas
  2. Demon king & Supreme Deity
  3. Ban
  4. Escanor
  5. Arthur
  6. King
Possibly would scale
1. Zeldris(Kept up with Meliodas in Cursed By Light I'm not to sure on this but also kept up with Dahila for a while)
2. Dahila
3. Diane(blitzed the Demon King with some rocks after possible emotion amps
4. Merlin(fast enough to fake out the Demon King)

Agreed if math checks out

Oh boy i have alot to reply to

Why would it be Hyperbole when the text literally says it literally moves at the speed of a flash of light. The difference between the Lariat translation in naruto and this one is the word Literal. It doesn't even say like a flash, it's pretty straightforward

Again refer to the point above for the hyperbole rebuttal.
Sorry for late reply. Being busy. Just saying the context was a bit bizzare and just be put of as SOL to FTL but I’ve seen the thread and I think we will need more input from others and admins as well.

Yeah I agree so far only 2 admins have said something, 1 agrees and the other I don't know his stance yet

ya ludo was literally the fastest character till zeldris ON and high demons night time... plus vessel limit. he was also blitzing 10c till indura which still couldnt fully catch him but tanked everything he did
