The concept of the multiverse seems almost exclusive to the series published by Akita Shoten (even today it seems almost obligatory that every new series published by Akita mentions the concept of the multiverse in some way), although I remember that Marttel was in agreement with also including anime as part of the multiverse and another universe in this story. But I don't think this applies to videogames, even many of them have strange stories or only seek to adapt some material of the franchise in their own way, and we don't know which is the participation of Kurumada in these works, because the only videogame where his personal work was Awakening and this was only exclusive in the design of the God Cloths (because they did not participate in any way in the story or anything else in it) and Kurumada signed these designs, so it means that they were approved by him even if he did not participate in these.

Speaking of Kurumada's contribution in the spin-offs, a few months ago Chimaki on Twitter had uploaded some images of what were the first ideas proposed by Kurumada for Saintia Sho, you can even see his signature on the pages, it's not much information because Chimaki only shared two incomplete images, but it's interesting to see that one of the possible names for the series was Saint Seiya Gaiden -Saintia Seika-, if Shoko was going to be called Seika and this explains why her physical resemblance to Seiya's sister, and it is also revealed that Kurumada already had in mind the nationalities of the Saintias and some details of their designs, confirming that Mii is from England (the story puts details about Mii's possible nationality, but it is never clearly stated in the story).

The way he writes it has only one meaning which is celestial world in Buddhism, one of the six paths or ten spiritual realms that are described in some branches of Buddhism. Kurumada describes this realm in Shaka's technique as the deva world (a part of the mortal reincarnation cycle for this universe).

but what websites say 天上界 (てんじょうかい) is a buddhist word? usually most websites will show that distinction and explain a little what it means. It makes quiet a big difference in the context of things.

It is an alternate universe like most of the spin-offs published by Akita Shoten, although being a recent series it uses the new concepts that Kurumada has been introducing in his most recent works.

As a story it is boring and uninteresting, although I can say that in a way I appreciate that they tried to tell a story with new characters and stop exploiting the classic characters and that the universe has different details, but refocusing a conflict again between the Specters and the Saints was a pretty boring decision and also the way they told the story because well 9 chapters were just flashbacks and only from chapter 14 the story begins to move forward and take a different direction. Although the drawing is good, it is not impressive at all when compared to Shiori and Kuori's.

About the power level of this manga, at the moment it does not seem unimpressive in the franchise by itself, because the most impressive feat which is the destruction of the Underworld needs the scale crossed with the original manga, because there are no descriptions about the size or structure of this place in the story.

Although it seems to have some decent hax and the fact that the writer of this manga previously wrote light and visual novels makes the descriptions of the attacks detailed and with the descriptions typical of these works use to exaggerate the power of the characters. Currently there is Suzuri's description that her sword can cut even causality (cause and effect), Shoichiro's Greatest Caution produces shockwaves that tear through space and are impossible to avoid and the damaged area produces more shockwaves multiplying the damage (now I wonder if we will see any interesting changes in the techniques of the other two Leaders), the description that the cosmos of the Specters can putrefy what it touches, the power of the Demiurge can erase characters from existence (even all traces of their memories and name are erased from the world) and it seems that Aiolos' soul partially resisted this, etc.

It could potentially be a very strong series and have a more than decent hax, even within this franchise. Although this depends on if it doesn't get cancelled, because spin-off sales are not good and there is always the possibility that the series gets cancelled, or that something similar to Kurumada Suikuden (another series with really great potential in terms of power levels) happens and the series stops being published for several years and without any comment of cancellation, because the series simply stopped publication indefinitely.

The facebook page of Taizen Saint Seiya posted a detailed summary of the first chapter of Time Odyssey.

After reading this summary, it seems that the story is a little more interesting than I imagined. I just hope this chapter will be included in the digital version of Champion RED so we can have good quality scans of it.

It is curious to see that Cronos is called the cruelest of the titanic deities, this could indicate that the Cronos we saw in this story could be the Titan, or maybe Kurumada is confirming that there were never two Cronos and we always had only one version of this god in his universe, being this the true Cronos of the main universe and that he will later become the portal we saw in Next Dimension. This is a more recent work in the franchise and as we know Kurumada had some contact with Alquié and Dollen (even the premiun version of the comic will supposedly bring some comments from Alquié and Dollen in the pages and some details that Kurumada mentioned to him about the story).

As for the rest of the story is basically what we already knew, Cronos wants to become the 13th Olympian and Zeus sought him out to stop Hades' plans, because the Great Eclipse will affect even the realm of the gods and cover this realm along with the rest of the Earth in darkness. This is interesting, because it could confirm that Hades is on another level even among the Olympians, because basically the Olympians have to resort to trying to change the timeline to prevent Hades from achieving his goal, rather than directly intervening with him. And Athena has been kicking Hades' ass since mythological times, this just confirms that Athena is basically the greatest god among them, all the enemies of the goddess are lucky that she is really nice or else Athena would be dancing on the corpse of her enemies.

Drachme has an ability (Lepta Temporis) to change people's perception of time, and Seiya describes that thanks to this ability, he seems to be faster than a Silver Saint from his point of view. Seiya defeats him with the cosmos granted by the Gold Cloth reaching the level of a Gold Saint, although we know this is not entirely true, since as Aiolia indicated even with the increased power from the Gold Cloth, Seiya was still not at the level of Gold Saints like Aiolia, although he was able to hit him at the beginning of the fight. Aldebaran seems to be using psychokinesis (telekinesis) against the Bronze Saints.

An interesting detail on page 22 of the Dark Wing chapter, Eito mentions the fact that the Specters can come back to life and how thanks to this he can have the pleasure of killing Shoichiro several times, but in this dialogue he mentions that he will also damage Shoichiro's soul (probably to make him suffer even in the world of the dead).

Although we had already seen that Eito could damage and even eliminate souls in chapter 8 (even without using the flames given to him by the Demiurge to erase beings from existence), where he completely destroys the souls summoned by Charlotte.

I just watched the first chapters of KotZ.

• Dohko can resist Deathmask's Seki Shiki for a short period of time and we can see that Deathmask can fly (float) and use teleportation.
• Ptolemy traveled to the location of Saori and the Bronze Saints using a portal, although it is unknown who created it (it was probably the Pope).
• The Phantom Arrow of Ptolemy is a mixture of real arrows with illusionary arrows, similar to Maya's attack in the first movie. Contrary to what we saw in the manga, here Ptolemy is a challenge to the Bronze Saints.
