RWBY: Possible AP buffs and scaling chain

Hello, there! I’m here with a possible AP buff and scaling chain for RWBY.

Ruby and Co can scale to the Colussus mech in V6 for multiple reasons.
Ruby manages to knock it over and cause a huge earthquake felt by a town a miles away.
Jaune takes a direct bloodlusted hit from the mech
Weiss manages to create an ice wall strong enough to completly block it's cannon fire.
The Colussus mech can scale to the Leviathan for these following reasons:
One, it was specifically built to combat large class grimm, with Amity Arena calling it the greatest giant anti-grimm defense force they have.
Two: Destroys the Leviathan with a drill strike
The Leviathan can scale to the Argus hard light shields for the following reasons:
One: In the companion book (which is still used today by the writers as an accurate source of information regarding grimm and atlas tech along with other world buildings) it says that the Leviathan can shoot an energy beam strong enough to cut through the hard light shield.
In Amity Arena, the bio admits that the only thing that could possibly get through the hard-light shields is the Leviathan.
The Argus Hard-Light shields can scale to the shields in Atlas for the following reasons:
In Amity Arena, they state that Argus's hard-light shields are the pinncile of defensive design that Atlas has to offer. Basically, the best defense possible.
Obviouly, this would include the hard-light shields in Atlas.
The grimm river (just the feat itself) can scale to the Argus Hard-Light shields because it was able to break through the shields, just like how the Leviathan did.

Thus, we have a clear scaling chain.

Now, some may state that the Levithan didn’t really push through the hard light shield. However, the guidebook says that its beams could cut through the hard light shield either way. And the bio in Amity Arena indicates that it could brute force its way through the shields as well. After all, they didn’t know it could also just exploit the shield generators. If they did, they wouldn’t have made the weakness so glaring. Their big ace in the hole was the giant mech. Even the Grimm river took some time to break through the shields too. Most likely, the Levithan wanted to bust through as fast as possible and just broke down the shield generators.

Larger Grimm are typically more intelligent too, like the Goliaths, who wait and exploit weaknesses.

The guidebook specifically says that it can CUT its way through the shield. During the wondercon panel after the JL movie’s first showing, Kerry said he gave the RWBY companion book, which has said cutting statement, to the main writer of the movie. This indicates that he still has faith in what is written in the guidebook as accurate. This is especially important as the Levithan plays a large part in the final battle of the movie, so the writer would definitely have to know what it’s capable of.

What do you all think?

1. The Leviathan did not break through the shield with brute force, it broke the towers keeping the shield up (which is a ridiculously bad weakness for the supposed “pinnacle of defense” to have the towers unprotected by their own shield), it does not scale.

2. The Colossus drilled the Leviathan after it was turned to stone and weakened heavily by Ruby’s silver eyes, it does not scale to it at all.

Again, no, it was outrght shown to only have gotten through the shield by destroying the towers generating it
Expect that the Argue military was confident that the Levithan could have gotten through by brute force as per the Amity Arena statement. If they knew that the Levithan was going to exploit this glaring weakness, they would have covered it up.

On-Screen Feats > statements from a video game, no matter how credible the game is.

The Leviathan blasted the shield with its breath and was not puncturing it. Atlus having horrendous weak spots in its “best defense” is stupidity or just a flaw in design unless stated otherwise. There is no narrative support for saying they didn’t knew a Grimm would exploit it so they “would have done this.”

Overconfidence is a thing with Atlus. Them saying that wall is the “pinnacle of defense” when it can get taken down by anything targeting the unprotected towers is that overconfidence on display.

If the Levaithan could get through the shield with brute force, it would do it with attrition, not pure AP. So it wouldn’t scale to it anyway since it would take several shots over several seconds, likely even much longer, before it exhausted the hard light dust and got through the shield. That would not scale it to the Atlus shields Salem’s Grimm fountain bust through. Not in the slightest.
