RWBY: 8-A and MHS Revision

...Alright, allow me to say that I don't care at all about RWBY as a verse. Never seen it. But uh... as has been said before, lower-level feats existing don't discredit higher-level feats. It's the same thing that went for Samurai Jack recently (wherein Hypersonic was argued despite having multiple feats above that).

MHS and low-end 8-A RWBY should still work, considering the presence of many lower-end Tier 8 feats and all that.

Samurai Jack has three Relativistic feats. Why must people use false equivalencies?

Stop trying to sound smart by crying this non-argument of "It's only an outlier if they don't like the Verse".

If you have no real, actual argument, don't bother comment. If not it is simply Argumentum Ad Passionem.

Every single anti-downgrade argument has been "Waah, my verse is being treaten unfairly, [Posts false-equivalency comparing it to another series ignoring all further context]".

It has nothing to do with outlier talk or anything

The highiest that RWBY has ever gotten was 8-B in the case of Low-Mid Tiers characters--- Any higher then that is a miscalc on the OP's part due to unrealistic timeframe and distance.

Also the MCB-MCB+ feats would only scale to the god tiers of RWBY, like the Maidens, Ozpin, and Raven... Neither of the Low-Mid Characters have a single feat of their own that remotely makes them comparable to these guys to warrant a scale--- Especially since they get foddernized majority of the time.

Im sorry but i still find it very hard to believe that a near baseline 8-A feat is an outlier in a verse with a ton of casual 8-C/High 8-C/8-B feats
Because this statement is a lie, no matter how many times you say it, it is just not true.

A few 8-C feats in a verse of 9-B / 9-A feats, and one High 8-C feat for a guy who stomps the main cast.

The only MCB level feat is from Weiss

The main cast has 8-C and High 8-C feats on their own and an 8-B feat scaling from Penny, stop lying by saying they dont have feats

Also can I ask where is it ever stated the Manga is Canon to the show?
The link to the lvestream where they said it isnt available at the moment but basically the writers for RWBY stated that its "canon until it's not" in that the details are considered canon until they are contradicted by the show, and they have had a hand in writing the manga

The Weiss calc you are referring to got High CB Level at best
Getting MCB results is high balling due to unrealistic timeframe and distance, Weekly
Kep literally calced it at 8-A and said the math is legitimate

"I mean yeah we're human not robots we can't be right 100% of the time."

^^^ This

Give it time and you can bring that up to him when he's awake. That will be your chance to ask him why is that he previously considered 8-A RWBY legit and now he doesn't anymore.

You're all missing the point. He's talking about Weiss's 8-A feat which Kep acknowledged was mathematically accurate in this very thread,

  • 2: Volume 1 Weiss is 8-A with her ice
Rebuttal: The calculation itself is correct, but this is where we get a quick RWBY reality check and run through the outlier scenario and prove it.

Let's look at the other impressive feats the series, ignoring the lower level feats that are from people orders of magnitude above V1 Weiss for now (although they will certainly be mentioned later):

  • Redone Nevermore Feats (8-C+)
  • Nora destroying a boulder (8-C+)
  • Ruby displacing rocks and dragging a Nevermore up (8-C+)
  • Yatsuhashi wrecking the battlefield in his fight against Mercury (8-C+)
  • Nora's hammer feat (8-C+)
With the exception of one or other stray Nevermore feat that is 9-A or low-end 8-C, and some feats that I will be addressing further below, these are literally all the impressive feats from mid-tier characters below 8-A.
