I unblocked Uselessnoob245's IP address, and re-blocked his second account without an IP block.

Somebody can give Boogie a strict warning to shape up.

Udlmaster is an expert at relentlessly and unapologetically wasting the staff's time and energy. I think that we agreed to block him for a month or two to start with. If he continues to be a problem when he comes back, he can be blocked for a longer time.
 
On second thought, there is likely insufficient proof to assume that Noodles is a sockpuppet, so I unblocked him.

If he causes further problems, the staff can block him though.
 
Noodles isn't a sock puppet, that I can vouch for.

Noodles is from seth the programmer's discord, which Udl has been recently become active in. So it would explain the Noodles thing.

They are completely different people, they've literally spoken in Discord calls. Why did we even accuse noodles of being a sock puppet?
 
Because Udlmaster has caused quite a lot of problems for the staff, as detailed above, whereas Noodles is new.

I think we should unban Udl for the span of the WoD revision and ban him again regardless of the outcome of the revisions.

Udl did behave unreasonable but reopening the thread with the main debater being banned is pointless and will lead to nothing at all.
 
A time-delayed ban seems like a strange procedure.
 
Its strange but it will help Udl to at least set the stuff he began straight. And its better then him making sockpuppets to participate in the thread, we for example banned one just because we thought he was a sock of him.

I'd like to remind of the sort of "internet restraining order" idea between the two; both of them being barred from talking to, quoting, or mentioning each other directly for some period of time.

If there's something that needs debunking, both of them have many people that are arguing the same positions as they are. If they feel something really urgent needs to be said, they could ask someone else to say it on their behalf; someone who'd be able to tone down their language to be less aggressive.

But I do admit that a ban or time-delayed ban is simpler.
 
As I said, I am technically not breaking either of the rules.
 
Crabwhale was not talking about suicide. He was expressing exasperation.
 
Boogie has already picked up 3 warnings for this. The act itself isn't too terrible but I don't think an extra warning is gonna stop it.
 
A more thorough explanation to him then? He doesn't seem problematic enough to actually ban yet.

i am honestly against perma banning Udl (even though I sorta hate the guy), Don't see he's done anything thats actually deserving of a perma ban.
 
We were only talking about 1 month.
 
Udl's a decent guy, much to the discontent of those often on the exploding end of his rather short fuse. I don't believe he is malignant, just very headstrong. I'm fine with a temporary ban in light of the circumstances- but go easy. He genuinely is productive when he isn't butting heads with staff.
 
We agreed to wait until he has finished his discussion with Ultima.

Alternate accounts aren't forbidden as long as they're public.
 
That is correct, although only one can be used at a time.
