This is like, textbook definition of trying to lawyer one's way out of a situation. You don't even try to deny the spirit in which you wrote the phrase in question, just contest whether or not it can technically be used against you as per "the rules"... Seeing if you can get away with it.

Please just, like, behave civilly towards other people? That's literally all we ask of you, honest.
 
If it was positive, there would be no reason for it to be hidden, and even if it was, why should we buy that when you've been sending negative comments towards Matt before that comment was made.

So Iapitus said that the reason why he was banned across the fandom was due to posting a jojo meme, and that he has to wait for the block to go away, even though they didn't tell him how long the block is.

JoJo memes are amusing and all, but let's not get side-tracked. This thread's for reporting Rules Violations, not... that.
 
Since Raven has apologised, I don't see the need for any greater consequences from this, but it should be noted that he has to take care to be more polite in the future.

It is very unfortunate with Iapitus, especially as he was going to help us with the I/O revisions. I will ask how long his block is, but I think that it is unlikely that the Fandom staff will tell anybody other than himself.
