This guy, MagicalLights is a new account that was only now created, and whose main/only edits has been wanking Paper Mario with NLFs . I don't think we should go for the ban right now, but prehaps a warning would be in order...?
I have no information on what X Heart is talking about but I think it's best to leave Ant deal with this on his judgement, since it looks like a delicate subject.
X Heart isn't the problem here. It is Stone who is the problem. But yeah it may be best for Ant to deal with it since us getting involved may make things worse.
Well, an informant at the Narutoforums told a respected member of this wiki, who in turn told me that Heart and Tonathan are the same person, and they seem to both have both a similar favourability for Superman, and distaste for Dragon Ball. You can check out the inappropriate rant that I removed above from the edit history of his Samurai Deeper Kyo blog post.
In addition, by my experience, Tonathan is perfectly capable of toning down his behaviour when necessary. It is not hard to simply go from being ridiculously extreme to a more balanced version of the same arguments.
Can you showcase evidence that he is Tonathan? Because to me the only thing I see is "He likes Superman and dislikes Dragon Ball". In that case, that is simply being unfair.
Well the extreme obsession with Superman, the criticism towards the universal Dragon Ball rankings, the fact that his writing pattern is similar to my interactions with Tonathan, that a Narutoforums member told Lina Shields that they are the same person, and that I have also been told that he has stated that he immediately aimed for rising through the staff when coming to this wiki.
In my experience, his writing is nothing like Tonathan's. Him liking Superman (I see no extreme obsession, and unlike Tonathan he actually likes Superman as a character rather than a delusion of power levels) and disliking Dragon Ball is not a problem. We cannot ban someone based on personal tastes.
I will talk to Lina, I would like to know his source and evidences.
@Matt I get where you're coming from but please, any kind of disagreement between mods should be taken care of privately, not on each-other's wall. Kavpeny did advise against this if I'm not mistaken.
Well, Kavpeny was referring to mainly arguments between staff of a certain kind. Obviously we are not a hive mind and have varying opinions. Look at some of our staff discussions, look at past rule violation threads, we have argued before. Simply doing so will not throw the wiki into chaos, and in this case it is simply an administrator and bureaucrat discussing whether or not a regular has violated a rule. That is the purpose of this thread.
Maybe I am being a bit paranoid and overthinking what this will cause, but given the controversial nature of this wiki, I think being on the safe side is usually a good solution.
I don't have authority over Ant nor Matt, over anyone here for that matter, so I'm just giving advice that I think is best suited to handling the situation. Whatever the staff decides afterwards, I'm fine with.
I personally agree with ScarletFirefly. It is better to handle controversial matters in private, to avoid causing a scene, and drag more people than necessary into it.
Even though the whole thing regarding Alien X has concluded, I talked a few things over with Prom and Starkiller and I decided to post some evidence here about Eroji editing pages from another Wiki to prevent me from using them as evidence in the discussion and then lied about editing them, as well as excused me of "making stuff up" continuously throughout the whole discussion (note it will be long as my screenshots will need to be full screen for anyone to read them, also my computer is slow so when I screenshotted them some of the words are covered by part of the page but it should still suffice). Anyway, here we go.
Lastly, for 5th evidence, if you go to his profile/message wall on both here and the Ben 10 wikia, not only will it show you the edits he did, but it will also show the wikia's he's been to on his account which match the picture I posted. Bear in mind he didn't Join the Ben 10 wikia until TODAY to start editing them too, proving its the same guy who was editing the page(s) on the same day of the discussions and throughout the whole discussion you can see him accusing me of making stuff up or pulling stuff from the wiki, which he claims "isn't there".
Also this that I forgot to Screenshot:
"Anyone can edit their wiki, so if you still insist of blindly believing in the wiki I'm gonna change a lot of stuff from the wiki so you will stop using it as evidence."
Care to explain? And once again, stop claiming I made things up when I didn't please.
I quoted his comment on how anyone can edit it and he admits he edited the pages just so I couldn't use it as evidence in the discussion about Alien-X's tier.
Forgive me because I didn't want to bother any staff about this after everything concluded but what can we make of this?
He basically edited that to "Infinite Solar Systems in 0 seconds" just so he could use that edit to support the claim of Infinite Speed for Alien X and he also claimed there was no timeframe for that feat whenever I called him out on it.
Also called it a "baseless claim" in the old edit and put "corrected" in the new one when nothing supports that at all.
Hmmm, this is something that needs to be mentioned to the other wiki's staff, and I suggest we block the guy, as this is an entirely new level of making false evidence.
