Alex got up from the ground in pain as Malak basically defeated them like kids against hurricane, then went for her Soul Daggers.

"Dhei!" She ran to help her friend who was trapped in the rubble

Cain fell to her knees, gripping her head.

"No No No No No No No... He always ruins everything...! EVERYTHING!!!!!" Cain shouted in rage, slamming her head into the ground and grinding against the dirt in rage and annoyance.

"...My house... again... Mother... Ugh, **** it!!" Ryan shouted.

"Dhei!" She ran to help her friend who was trapped in the rubble
Dhei would just stand there and breath slowly, as that was the only thing he could do, as well as staring around him without his head

"Uuuugh...."

Kaminos let out a roar of sheer rage and hatred toward Malak. It was one of the closest things he could get to catharsis in this situation. His bloodlusted state of mind may have dissipated, but he was still a ball of wrath at this point. He headed over to the rubble, lifting it off Dhei piece by piece. After this, he headed back to where he was headed initially, but for a different reason. He wasn't going to do reconnaissance anymore, no. He was going to rip them apart. They were going to be his training dummies for the time being to help him get strong enough to face Malak.

"Where are you going?" Epithymia asked.

"....."

Kaminos was silent, flying away and heading toward where he saw the demons go earlier.

"Should we... should we stop him?"

Mark manifested part of his consciousness in his own pocket dimension, leaving his body in the real world.

Running to help Palaria, with some tears on her face.

"My God, Palaria" he Said as he approached her, as he checked her

"Please hold on! I'll help you" he said almost panicking, seeing the amount of blood to proceed to manifest a magical healing kit with various bottles and other things in an attempt to ease Palaria's pain
Palaria began coughing again, trembling softly as she contained it, looking up a little weakly at Mark and trying to smile for him, to try and say it was alright to comfort him

"Should we... should we stop him?"
"I don't think the demons are there anymore..." Terevion muttered as Claria ran into the woods, cursing

Cain was to enraged to even care about where Kaminos was going. No, she didn't care about anything.

"Hate... Hate... Hate... HATE...!!!"

She repeatedly bashed her head into the ground each time she spoke, "Useless Useless Useless!!!"

She didn't just hate Malak. She hated herself. She cursed it, cursed her own weakness, cursed the fact there were people out there that could take away everything she held dear at the drop of a hat. She'd failed to protect Palaria, Dhei, or any of her friends in this fight. All she could do was sit there, and inevitably let her unending malice towards Malak take over, and even with that, she could do nothing to stop him. She could do nothing.

"NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING!!! HATE! HATE! HATE!"

Cain just shouted, her words becoming incoherent as she continued to slam her head into the ground.

Palaria began coughing again, trembling softly as she contained it, looking up a little weakly at Mark and trying to smile for him, to try and say it was alright to comfort him
Mark also smiled at Palaria, although his sadness was visible, he hated that feeling of feeling useless, he kept trying to stabilize Palaria with magic medicine at least so that she would stop coughing a while

Cain wasn't listening and clearly so, continuing to slam her head into the ground, caving in the material below her multiple times in her unbridled rage and sadness as she thrashed and roared.

Mark also smiled at Palaria, although his sadness was visible, he hated that feeling of feeling useless, he kept trying to stabilize Palaria with magic medicine at least so that she would stop coughing a while
"I need to get back out... I can sense Cain just..." Palaria went quiet, clearly worried for her friend and Mark

Palaria practically slumped onto her arse next to Cain, hugging her tightly to try and comfort her and get her to calm down, even going as far as to shift her legs to where Can was slamming

Lazerus collapsed onto the ground, blood flowing freely from his mouth. He had bitten into Malak so hard that his own teeth had been shattered, his own brittle body incapable of keeping up with his sheer rage towards the man. He let out a screech, cursing incoherently as he placed a hand over his mouth. Hatred practically radiated from his body. But worse....humiliation. The demon hadn't even acknowledged his existence. To him, he must have just been another failed experiment, nothing more. The demon had ruined his life...and probably didn't even remember it. The thought filled him with a nearly indescribable bitterness. He continued to lay on the ground, screeching and growling incoherently.

Goliath walked over to Cain. Slowly, he leaned down next to the woman, getting onto one knee.

"...Dhei...and Palaria...are...alive. We...all survived." He said softly.

"...He...he only wanted to...harass us..."

(Lol.)

Cain tried to break away from Palaria, her roars becoming more akin to wails as she stopped slamming her head into the ground, the crater beneath her coated in thick, black blood with pieces of her skull floating in the mixture, Goliath's words and Palaria's comfort calming her down as she just sat there, crying and wailing.

Palaria put a potion to Cain's mouth, it was black as she poured it in, it healed Cain completely and had a sweet taste to it, while Palaria just stroked Cain's head to try and calm her friend down

Claria stopped by a tree and after some breathing punched it hard enough to completely turn it to splinters with flew out with a yell of pure rage

Cain knocked the potion away, her broken head slowly being put back together as Cain began to produce more skin and bone to replace the ones she broke away from her own body, the large, gaping gash in her forehead closing up as all that was left was blood, the girl continuing to softly cry and whimper.

"It's...n-...n--n-...n...o....t... I'm... use...l-l..es..s..." Cain grumbled, her voice cracking in multiple areas as she coughed and whimpered like a child.

"I can't do... anything... r-...riiii...gh...t..."

"It's...n-...n--n-...n...o....t... I'm... use...l-l..es..s..." Cain grumbled, her voice cracking in multiple areas as she coughed and whimpered like a child.

"I can't do... anything... r-...riiii...gh...t..."
"Cain, you've helped outright saved my life before... that's something you did right..." Palaria murmured to Cain, gently stroking her head

"You're not the only person who is affected by this, I couldn't even make him take a single step back, I know that you didn't achieve your purpose but you can't blame yourself in this way, We're alive, that's a victory of sorts" Mark said to Cain

Cain held onto Palaria, continuing to whimper.

"I'm... sorry... I-I-I-....it... just hurts... I love all....o-... of you... I want to... p-.. p-pr...ot...ect... you all... I'm sorry... I'm sorry..."

Cain held onto Palaria, continuing to whimper.

"I'm... sorry... I-I-I-....it... just hurts... I love all....o-... of you... I want to... p-.. p-pr...ot...ect... you all... I'm sorry... I'm sorry..."
"You have nothing to apologize for Cain... it's okay... we're here for you..." Palaria murmured gently

Goliath looked over at Cain, continuing to pat her back gently. Hearing that she had wanted to protect them all...was touching. The man breathed out, a well of unfamiliar emotion in his chest.

"...You've...done....a great job...Cain. You've...helped....all of us..." He said quietly.

"I'm...grateful. To...fight by...your side..."

"...I... I..." Cain trembled continuing to cry, but, a hint of relief was in her voice and expression... To know that she actually meant something to the group, that she wasn't useless, it made her feel more fulfilled than she'd ever felt in her life.

"Thank you... Thank you so much... I love you all..."

A small, tight smile slowly appeared on Goliath's lips.

"...Never expected...someone would care enough to protect...me.." He thought. All his life, he had been seen as strong. As the protector. A consequence of his opposing size and strength. Even as a slave, he was chosen to be the bodyguard of his master. He had always assumed that, when the chips were down, he would just be another meat shield, just another bodyguard to protect those more important. For someone to care enough about him...to want to protect him...It warmed his heart, in a strange way.

"...Thank you..." He murmured. He continued to kneel beside the woman, gently rubbing her back as he stared at the ground.

Kaminos had heard Terevion, but didn't care. He felt unable to turn off his rage. As of now, he felt his fists were the only way to release the anger he had. He just needed something to strike, something to destroy. It wouldn't be right for him to do so against his allies, nor the rubble of Ryan's house. If he couldn't find anything, he would just destroy the ground beneath him with his fists...

When Kaminos removed the rubble, Dhei forces himself up, inhaling and exhaling air as if he ran a marathon and making his way to the rest as fast as he could on the legs, the impact was rough to him, it will take a bit to recover fully

"Palaria....Cain....everyone....did he leave?...."

Asked them as he was still far from the group and was approaching kinda slow

"Y-yeah... he's gone... but he left me worse for ware, albeit for better or worse..." Palaria called out, gently putting a hand over where her heart was

Eventually arriving to where she along rest are at, Dhei puts his palm on her head as he sat on his knees

"You are my best friend Palaria.....i will defend you even if i put myself at risk.....keep yourself up"

"Um, I don't know if it would work, but I could try something..." Para said, "What is given, but not returned, taken but cannot be found, laid down, but seldom picked up?"

Eventually the group of soldiers and the man walking at some distance would spot from far away the main cast, after they had their encounter with Malak a while ago, he signals them to stay put as he went forward towards the group

Cain eventually got up, breathing in and out slowly to calm herself as they began to hear someone calling out to them from the distant forest.

"...Hello!!?... Is anybody there!? What happened?! I... I heard fighting! Are you alright...?!" The female voice called out.

Dhei sensed someone else approaching besides the person calling out to them

"There is another coming from there"

Pointed out as the man was now a few tens of meters away from them, he held his arms behind his back and stood straight with his own back

"Greetings to all you, i finally managed to find you all"

Goliath straightened himself. Any sign of his previous happiness was gone. He stared at the man, before glancing back in the direction of the female voice.

“…We’re fine.” He called out gruffly. He turned back to the man, so silently watching incase he tried anything.

Lazarus had finished his rambling. Shakily he took out one of his potions, downing it completely. Black blood surrounded his feet, the plants visibly wilting anywhere the blood touched. Seeing that new people had arrived, he simply pulled his hood over his head, obscuring his face.

Cain ignored the voices, slowly calming herself down as she transformed into her human form, realizing that she probably shouldn't frighten whoever was coming, and the man who was already here.

"Oh, alright...! Haa...!" The girl emerged from the forest, holding a bow.

"Oh, my... Your all not okay...!" The girl said, noticing the remnants of battle, specifically, Palaria and Ryan's house.

Ryan was silent, just observing the damage and seeing what he could fix.
