RP • A Country Divided Thread

"Well, the issue mainly consists of a defensive legend we can't break through. The Tower Knight." Sigmar said, leading the way

"The legendary nameless knight that was silenced? Damn... I see... this will be an issue." Terevion said

"Think of the Tower Knight as an individual who fell from grace and was silenced due to it, it's more then likely Malak corrupted him in some way..." Terevion mused

"If by "corrupted" you mean turned into a 40 foot tall practically invulnerable being you'd be correct." Sigmar said

"Oh..." Palaria murmured

"Giant enemies? Interesting...." Epithymia said, "Is this normal for you guys?"

"Well, we did fight a giant robot a while ago..." Para said.

Epithymia tilted her head and nodded a little bit, impressed that they'd actually done that before.

"Not that we know of, but it was said that at the end of his life when he has truly fallen that a group of rising heroes would take him down, so I suppose you'll follow the trope of the "chosen ones"." Sigmar said

"Rising group of Heros." Robin says. "A relatively normal platoon of soldiers could be able do the trick by that definition. Why should we base our attempt to fight them based on hearsay."

"Robin is right, I'm sure your high-ranking soldiers could do this job better than us, years of training and experiences, their training must be infinitely better than ours combined" Alex said

(Cain: Has 80+ years of combat experience.)

"...Cain...agree....Cain think... You can... get other... people..." Cain murmured, "...Cain... no fight... for no reason..."

"You speak as if my pride wouldn't have me do those things first, no avail." Sigmar said

"That was kind of obvious." Terevion muttered

Palaria sighed and shuffled her feet a bit

(Cain: Has 80+ years of combat experience.)
(The difference of years doesn't really matter much in a magical Rp or in fiction in general, Kelsier could kill an inquisitor even if he had at least 100 years of allomantic experience or Vin who in only 2 years can already fight against the best assassins of the final empire, even though she is greatly outnumbered)

"No offense your majesty, but what makes you think that a bunch of people like us would do better?" Alexandra Said

(I am acutely aware of this. You're the one who brought it up in the first place lol.)

"If that didn't work why would we and it sounds like you are preaching hearsay as a prophesy. What did Malak decide to make the knight weak to random groups of people why not a knife carved of flint from some random mountain or something what is it weak to some kind of power related to friendship do you mean to tell me we are the last resort." I say.

"If I knew I'd tell you, this is a whim and last resort I don't like relying on any stories at all. And as for it helping Queen Kintoria, he could easily cause a massive nuisance in Central Olatia." Sigmar responded truthfully

"...Okay." Cain said, now steeled for combat. She didn't particularly care about the queen or the people in Central Olatia now. She had a target, and she was now focused on exterminating it.

"I am glad we can agree on that front, and I hope you understand the doubts can you spare something to help increase our defensive options or options in general some soliders or siege weaponry?" I ask.

"Well, he is a bit slow, if your good at dodging at all you'd be able to safely engage him, but when he hits, he hits extremely hard." Sigmar responded

"Right... ill... see what we can do in preparation." Palaria said

"Anything that's being unfazed by strikes from Ghal maraz is going to have siege weaponry be... unnafective to say the least." Sigmar responded

"That all sounds like EXTREMELY wishful thinking, I'll start brainstorming on how to best the tower knight. And I already have one," Magnus said telepathically to the group

"Once again if we are supposed to defeat it somehow I don't see why siege weaponry wouldn't work in our hands. You don't trust us with building destroying weaponry I guess that is fair ." He say Robin heard Magus but figured suddenly dropping the topic would be suspicious given how stubborn he acted the last argument and would make any odd ticks the group show in the telepathic discussion be less of a focus so Magus isn't discovered by Sigmar.(I know Sigmar probably can detect Magus with all his enhanced senses or just wouldn't care but Robin doesn't.)

"...It... wouldn't... work... because... Sigmar... stronger than... siege weaponry... Sigmar no work..." Cain murmured, clearly still not wanting to talk due to how quiet she was.

"You know, I think I have an idea...." Epithymia said, "Show of hands, who all can use magic to move things telekinetically?"

Kaminos turned toward her, wondering what plan she was thinking of. Para raised her had to signify that she could. After a few seconds, it clicked.

"I get it now..."
