Teleporting, Fireballs and trying to go for CQC
How good is Scorpion's willpower and pain tolerance? at it peak Kyoka's pain amplification can make even a slight breeze cause massive amounts of pain and her actual slashes feel like large portions of your body are being obliterated.

Correct answer: yes on willpower, as for pain tolorance I'm not the one to ask

His willpower is pretty dang strong, as he was able to resist the effects of the Netherrealm which by its nature corrupts and eventually turns everyone evil, as for his pain tolerance, it should be pretty decent considering he was originally a prisoner of the Netherrealm which forces you to suffer eternal torment by the demons and other entities there and during his life he's suffered and survived some horrendous damage and injuries. Would it be enough to withstand that stuff? probably not but he'd atleast resist it more than most, but if the pain becomes too much, he'll most likely revert into Scorpion, who's first move would be to drag them to Netherrealm, which weakens and limits what they can do, all the while strengthening Scorpion.

Getting Dragged into the NetherRealm could be an issue, how big is the debuff? Kyoka herself has her Per Second enhancement as well which will continuously make her more powerful as the seconds go by plus she has her Etherious form for an even greater boost and given she already has a 2.7x AP advantage that will give her the edge in a CQC fight. Plus If Scorpion shows sign of resisting the pain stuff, Kyoka will just remove his 5 senses.

It doesn't have a direct scale of how strong the buff/debuff is, but it has shown to create an even fight with characters significantly stronger than him, the major part about it though is that the debuff and buff respectively continue to grow stronger the longer they are there (meaning the debuff makes her weaker and weaker and Scorpion stronger and stronger), at most, it should should cancel out her own AP growth, but his would still continue to rise, which would become a substantial problem the longer the fight goes on. As for removing his 5 senses, I don't THINK Scorpion himself has a counter for that but he has special senses that let him detect people's souls or presences, so he should be able to still keep track of her. On the flipside he'd also be able to summon other demons and undead to aid in his fight, this would essentially just become a battle of attrition with which his regen, progressive amps and summons would just eventually overwhelm her.

Not sure if this is true or not but I read that the Netherrealm only debuff's magic. Kyoka doesn't use magic she uses curse power, which is just negative emotions and she can absorb them to grow even more powerful like she did with Seilah. Given the Nature of the Netherrealm as its been described as a place that contains only evil, she should be able to get even more powerful just by being there.

Isn't that curse power technically magic?

How does a character from another verse gain strength from the Netherrealm? And not everyone and everything in the Netherrealm is actually evil such as Kharon, who only does his job of transporting damned souls.

As an Etherious or in other words a Demon from the Books of Zeref, she uses Curse Power which is completely separate from Magic in Fairy Tail, magic could completely stop existing and they wouldn't be affected by it. This was the whole point of the FACE project as they wanted the erase all magic and become unrivaled among other things.

Verse Equalization, The Netherrealm is filled with the Souls of the Damned and has been called an evil place multiple times. Kyoka has the ability to absorb evil emotions to become even more powerful and this place would be a perfect feeding ground for said ability.

Wait wait do we take Hanzo as a composite? As in he has his feats from prior games and such?

The Netherrealm from what I remember also works on normal humans who don't use Magic, such as Johnny Cage, and well the rest of the cast who don't use Magic.

Okay on that point

It's called an evil place in the old timeline. Which was retconned in later games, where it is simply a unique realm with its own wildlife and inhabitants, but it still has the capacity to house evil souls for them to be tortured when they arrive. It's no different from Earthrealm where there are bad people in it too. Calling it an evil place would be generalization, since not everyone there is morally evil (ex. Charon who only does his job, its deadly wildlife, demons, etc.)

The profile is a composite one for the moment.

Then is endurance should be ******* insane, given that he's a MK character who busted each others organs and mutilate one another regularly.

So from what i see from both sides right now is that if the Netherrealm effects normal people, Scorpion eventually wins a battle of attrition, if not, Kyoka wins? Or would it just end in a drag out fight until Scorpion just...abandons her in the NEtherrealm? SInce that's a viable option he can do as she doesn't have the means to escape.
