Ronan states Thanos is no longer the strongest being in the universe, Thanos stays quite and hangs up, Nebula legitimately believes Ronan is now capable of killing Thanos.

Are you sure about that? I for one don't think that's what was implied at all. In fact Nebula HAS to know the range of Thanos' power and decided to side with Ronan so clearly knew Ronan could beat Thanos

Anyway this is irrelevant. I want to know why Matthew disagrees that Thanos should be "likely higher with armour".

Because it makes no sense to believe that he needs some small degree of Armour to be Hulk / Thor strong in durabiliy when he's already that good with his direct punching.

It's like saying that he'd break his fists x1000 times over if he didn't wear armour which we know isn't accurate.

The Power Stones aren't an instant "I Win" button. Thanos could believably take down Ronan and get the Stone back since he is hilariously superior in every single way.

Yeah of course but I'm talking about physical stats with the power stone. Although Thanos already has the power stone when he took on Hulk so clearly he was already enhanced by then too.

No one is saying so. I'm just wanting to add that Thanos's durability is "higher with his armour", since Iron Man could slightly harm him while Hulk's blows have completely no effect at all. It doesn't have to be hilariously higher, just slightly.

At most this means that Iron Man's suit can amp itself to High 6-B. Iron Man had to increase his fist's size and propel his punch to harm Thanos.

No, that's not what I meant. Thanos's armour is an unknown amount higher than High 6-B because Hulk's blows did nothing at all. Thanos himself is High 6-B. The armour is even higher.

thanos face was exposed when hulk punched him. the helmet does not seem to cover his face at all and hulk was punching his face.
