Wasn't there a satella vs yukari thread not too long ago? Pretty sure there was, and yet again another yukari thread, she is definitely the most used tier 6 character. Anyway neither reinhard nor satella can mess with reality warpers, yukari stomps, for now at least neither reinhard nor satella have had a real fight yet so we don't know what they can really do, and considering that a reality warper is an antagonist in the series, we will see how they handle that eventually. For now yukari wins easy i think.

Also, she's easily the most haxxed.

Considering all the wins she has on her profile, she is definitely op yes, don't know why you thought this was a good idea seeing has yukari has wins against reality warpers and causality manipulators, reinhard has no resistance to any such thing on his profile and since yukari can beat such people then that means yukari>reinhard. I like that you are using re zero characters though.

For once, I have to jump on the "Boundary GG" bandwagon and admit that Reinhard's got nothing on Yukari (or at least nothing that impressive compared with what she's way used to dealing with).

...But it's all good, he kinda sorta looks like a Gary Stu/wish fulfillment character. I laugh at his complete loss.

You are right though he is a gary su, if re zero was a typical light novel he would be the protag, you know you have a broken character when a character from the beginning of the story is stated to be able to stalemate the seemingly final villan (seemingly because i don't think satella is the be all end all, the reality warper seems like more of a threat)

I think it's why he's kinda not the the protag or something? Made to contrast Subaru who's supposed to be the underdog trying to use every loop he can (basically Frisk pre-peak determination) so I can't really agree on him just being a self-fulfillment.

Oh he gets rekt by Yukari though.

Also Yukari is ******* overused. No offense. As in seriously, there are other Touhou characters you can find matches for.

You kiinda don't need to be the protag to be a Gary Stu or Mary Sue. Having like a billion advantages over everyone, having tens of powers that usually very few people get at least one and being able to stalemate the character who should be the final boss (or at least is looking like that) on top of being good at everything?

...Textbook definition of Gary Stu. To make matters worse, he doesn't even need to work hard or anything to get all that. He's just blessed because "woot, look how perfect this guy is".

Like I said, Gary Stus and Mary Sues arent always the MCs. But anyways,not the place for us to go arguing about Reinhard, since we agree on who wins anyways we're pretty much settled. I can live with his existence as long as I keep my distance, lest I'll be cringing to no end. rofl

Lol, fate that description reinhard is so correct, though at the very least reinhard won't just remain an underdeveloped character for the entire series, right now he is so broken that he would end all threats in the story so he is sidelined but there is definitely going to be probably an arc about him because we don't even know why he is so op, and it's not just cause, there may be some sort of god giving him blessings and reinhard isn't anything more than a "hero", he has a very absolute and warped sense of justice, which causes issues with his family, so yea he is going to undergo development sometime in the future.

Real cal have mercy on Ninetales. Although I'm surprised more 8-C matches don't happen because of Ninetales.

Tier 8 is like the most painful tier to find matchups for because there are so many characters that the list is in alphabatetical order and you can't see which ones are most popular except the ones at the top, if i could i would have made an emilia matchup by now, multi-city block level doesn't seem to have that many characters either, this is off topic though.

Don't know anything about yukari so i don't know how she is characterized but reinhard isn't really involved in the story of re zero because he is so op, he has only shown up against elsa who he one shotted, at the royal selection, in subaru's trials where he experienced what happens after he dies, things to go hell cause puck tries to destroy the world, reinhard shows up slams puck into the ground severely injuring puck then he draws reid and restores and rejuvenates all the damage puck did.


The last time reinhard showed up he fought regulus and the fight was a stalemate cause regulus has a bs defense which makes how much you can destroy null as he is like outside of regular time as his time is stopped, and reinhard couldn't draw reid so the fight stalemated. Anyway that was offtopic again, i think this should probably be closed as reinhard no way of winning he has little hax only matter manipulation and sealing with reid, he is a character that focuses on hax resistance and he has no resistance to the stuff yukari has.

Also honestly the term Mary Sue is tossed around so easily. Mary Sue would be the same as claiming that resolves any conflict in the plot. Not the case with Yukari it seems despite her overhwleming power. Then agan that's frequently used to describe characters with overwhelming power despite their intriguing character sometimes cough Superman and Saitama cough
