Regarding the name "Outerverse level"

For this pattern, what would the High 1-A look like? Neither the dimensionless nor the transcendent are good suggestions. Unless you put one name unrelated to another. For example, "dimensionless" for 1-A and "nigh omnipotent" for High 1-A.

NOTE: IT'S ONLY AN EXAMPLE TO EXPLAIN WHAT I WANT TO SAY, IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT I NECESSARILY SUGGEST THOSE NAMES. What I mean is that, essentially, High 1-A doesn't have to have the same name as 1-A with a "High" before. They can be different names.

Once again I intrude. I am terribly sorry.

I still believe that Irrelevant should be applicable to every 1-A statistic, not just a select few.

As for 2-C, I personally think Small Multiverse level is even better. This is more of a personal taste, but Low Multiverse level does not resonate well with me. Weirdly, High Multiverse level+ I have no qualms with.

(jesus ******* christ I sound super verbose here)

@Matthew

Fair point.

We should still address the naming of 1-A and especially High 1-A.

@Seed

Omnipotence is not a term we use on this wiki outside of Tier 0, and even then it is referred to as "Questionable Omnipotence".

If not Irrelevant, then how about Metaverse level instead? Given the general usage of the meta- prefix to indicate something that is transcendent in relation to the root word, it could perhaps work.

There are no changes. Someone please...close this thread already.

I'm confused. Are we suggesting to close this thread simply because Ant "doesn't have any good alternatives", or because tier names don't mean anything?

If the former, isn't that kind of an appeal to authority?

If the latter, why didn't we just stick with "Hyperverse level+"?

I am just briefly reopening this thread, and then closing it again, to mention that I do not mind if Matthew wants to create a revision thread for 2-C from "Multi-Universe" to "Low Multiverse" or "Small Multiverse" instead.

Regarding Outerverse, I know that the name isn't perfect, but we had a very long discussion when we selected the term, and genuinely couldn't come up with anything better. "Hyper" refers to higher dimensions, and "Metaverse" is already commonly used for something else, so in lack of better options, we should keep it.

I'm sorry to reopen but it seems like there wasn't too much of a consensus and was just closed suddenly. I also wanted to give my opinon.

I agree using both the "multi" and "uni" prefixes for one word is a bit silly for 2-C. I'd prefer Low Multiverse (which fits with our next ratings of Multiverse and High Multiverse) or even "Multiple Universe level" over the current name.

Also I'm sorry and I mean no disrespect but "Outerverse" is a silly name in my opinion. It's literally just a name we made up that no work of fiction, no form of science or philosophy has ever used. This site bashes the term "omniverse" so much but it least it's a term that is actually used. If I created a fan fiction that used the term "Superverse" or "Omegaverse" it'd be just as valid as Outerverse. If not more so because at least now those terms are in a work of fiction, and Outerverse remains something that isn't in anything but our pages.

There is also the issues with the word and what it implies like Matt said. I think a "Boundless", "Dimensionless", or "Transcendental" are all at least better names. I don't think the fact that there are characters called transcendent in fiction would lead to too much confusion.

I also kinda like "Absolute Infinity" for Tier 0s, since it relates to mathematical and philosophical concepts of an infinity that is bigger than and completely inaccessible by any infinities/transfinities and is truly unable to be surpassed, being the nature of God. "True Infinity" works just fine too though.

Or Metadimensional

What about Extraverse? Since some people call 1-A characters as extradimensional (Because they are superior to high-dimensional characters).

Omegaverse is a widely used term, but it doesn't mean what you think it would mean. XD

Mind me, this is a staff thread, so mind me for commenting.

I like Low Multiverse level better.

As for 1-A, Irrelevant sounds nice to me.

Subjective Infinity for High 1-A, Objective Infinity for 0.

I moved this to General discussion. We are just deciding names and anyonr can give their opinion over something like this.

Hyperversal and Hyperdimensional don't sound alike, and the term "Hyperdimensional" is often used in some fictions to mean "Beyond dimensions"

"Hey,do you know how strong Temna Yato is?"

"Yeah, I know: he's Irrelevant"

That sounds kind of laughable.

Hyperdimensional sounds fine with me

I think only the staff should be involved in this considering that all the profiles affected are Tier 2 and up and all of them are locked.

It would take time to unlock them for regular users.

1-A can't be extra-dimensional as they don't have any dimensions whatsoever.

In fact they can't be any-dimensional.

Yes, I know that. Prefix extra- means "outside, beyond". This means that extradimensional characters outside concept of dimensions. Word "Extraverse" can mean special space that beyond any other -verses (except infinite-dimensional hyperverse). Therefore, I believe that Extraverse should be fine.
