Reaction Speed Calcs?

Regarding reaction speed, can we use it to determine the speed of a character (B) that has speed blitzed another (A).

Speed = Distance / Time

Lets say B traveled 5 metres, and A moves at Mach 55.

0.0000588 x 50 = 0.00294 / 55 = 5.34545455e-5

2 / 5.34545455e-5 = Mach 109.081533528

Would this work?

Depends, if the reactions is a set value not via calc (Like the character is mentioned to have lightning reflexes in a non-hyperbolic way, sure)

Otherwise, its just calc stacking.

Reaction speed is measured in time units, so reacting to something moving at Mach 55 from 5 meters from distance, reactions would be 5/(343.6*55) = 264.58 us, that according to our system would be Hypersonic+

No I mean if a character blitzes a character with Mach 55 speed at a distance of 5 metres dows it make him Mach 109?

Mmm... not necessary; said characters should have stated that speed to do could calculate something like that, otherwise would be calc stacking. Also, there are some holes in your method: you get the inverse of Mach 55 (assuming one meter), then multiplied it by 1.1 for unknown reasons, and then the inverse again, this time assuming 2 meters.

So totally no? Or should there be improvements to the way to calc it?

Nah, I wouldn't do something like this, isn't like reacting at 5 meters is that common, if it is, just find the speed of the projectile or whatever is moving at that speed. If there's no distance, we angsize, and there's no giving speed then nothing can be done.

Pretty sure it's an absolute no go unless the blitzed character has a specific stated speed an d he was going that speed otherwise it's calc stacking and can even yeild largely inflated results

(I mean could ya imagine if we did this for Jojo or Dbz? There current speeds could be thousands higher than what it is).
