Raiden Upgrade, additional abilities and something about Armstrong's feat

Okay. You need to make sure to edit everything properly though, by updating all of the relevant statistics and the tier categories at the bottom of the pages, and by closely following the instructions in the following page: Common Editing Mistakes

Okay. Thanks.

do you think it would be appropriate to give an explaination to what happened after he obtained the Murasama to give the reason behind his boost? Some thing like "higher after obtaining the Murasama (upon coming to terms with his violent side Raiden was capable of overpowering Armstrong)"

edited Raiden's profile, I'm gonna start with the other characters right now

Also, can I be added to the Knowledgeable Members list for Metal Gear? My knowledge is limited to MGR but it could still be useful to have someone else there to help

Done, the upgrade has been implemented, does anyone have any doubts about the changes before we close this?

It would result in that we need another feat to scale from, yes.

Armstrong's feat was also 7-C if I'm correct. 20 kilotons

Looks good. Low end is safest for the EXCELSUS feat
Low end

5087827000*3,000 j/cc = 15263481000000 joules 3.648~ Kilotons, Small Town level+

Mid end

5087827000*17,000 j/cc = 86493059000000 joules 20.672~ Kilotons, Town level

High end

5087827000*60,000 j/cc = 305269620000000 joules 72.961~ Kilotons , Town level+

This is where I start to worry.

Twellas mentioned that probably one thing was missed in calc - that Armstrong's punch basically turned EXCELSUS to a mini volcano, but I'm not a calcer so idk

How does the negation of KE yield of sword swing by swinging speed affect the tiering for high tier characters?

The sword swinging is not used anymore, i edited that out of Raiden's profile.

Yes, the calc ignores the fact that Armstrong left a 50 feet deep, 300 feet wide (i made these numbers up, it's just to say that the crater is quite big) crater, so if we don't want to calc the whole thing again, it's fair that we at least take the Mid-End, which is also standard practice in general

Craterrek
Curatterreh
Bladewolf is standing on a piece of the EXCELSUS that is basically parallel to the surface around the crater, and you can see just how high that is.

I did mention this in the original post, but everyone just kinda ignored it, so i left it out

Also saying that the "Low end is the safest" doesn't really mean that the Mid end isn't usable, it simply means that, like ALWAYS, going for the low end is the safest option.

It's worth saying that the EXCELSUS' CNT is probably of incredibly high quality, given the futuristic setting and its importance in general, which means that saying that its CNT has a middle-of-the-road strength for today' technology is fair, if not a lowball. Saying that it's just 3k joules is simply ridiculous

In this context, going with anything below the mid-end is just nonsense, and even using the mid-end is a pretty self-explainatory lowball, since we would be saying that a state-of-the-art robot from a futuristic setting is made with material whose strength is merely average for today's standard

Well, there's absolutely no way that it's made from normal metal or anything. Metal Gear RAY's are already made out of CNT (carbon nanotubes) muscle fiber of quality definitely far higher than our modern inventions (and Metal Gear 4 inventions) and it has an powerful armor over it. There is a reason why it can survive being suplexed by Raiden. And EXCELSUS is leagues above RAY.

Exactly, if anything, even going for the high-end could be considered lowball, especially since the 63 gigapascals of strength was back in 2000, I don't think i need to tell you why I think that MGRR' CNT's strength ought to be superior to that of materials from 20 years before.

Raiden tanked the 7-C explosion before attaining the Murasama and he fought Armstrong in base, that's what the whole post is about

Okay. I will do so.
