Jake vientam ( The Hidden Wizard )

Question in Jake vientam and nova laos

They are automatically banned from the wiki due to both having power-scaling authors.
I'm never going to see Jake Vientam's page in the wiki due to the video I just watched.

"Transcending the concept of concepts automatically makes you boundless"

What did I just hear?

Anyway, yeah, they aren't allowed.

"I charged at the wizard, ready to unleash all of my power. The wizard responded by conjuring up a massive asteroid, which they hurled towards me with deadly precision. I could feel the intense heat of the celestial body as it hurtled towards me, but I didn't back down. I channeled all of my energy, reaching immeasurable layers into boundless, and let out a roar. I AM IMMEASURABLE LAYERS INTO BOUNDLESS!! ARGGHHH!" I lifted my hand and with a flick of my wrist, I sent the asteroid hurtling back at the wizard. They dodged it just in time, only for me to then conjure up a sun and throw it at them with even greater force."

and transcending the concepts of higher dimensions that gives you how much tier?

Depends, but "higher dimensions" or "dimensions" would effectively work the same, and it would be either Low 1-A or 1-A with the corresponding context.

Transcending the concept of higher dimensions wouldn't be Low 1-A or 1-A 🗿

because a 'higher' dimension is still a dimension

and 1-A is beyond dimensions

heck its probably 1-C or something

Cela dépend, mais « dimensions supérieures » ou « dimensions » fonctionneraient effectivement de la même manière, et ce serait soit Low 1-A, soit 1-A avec le contexte correspondant.
Thanks

Transcending a concept means one transcends all possible amounts. which can be in both low 1-A and 1-A, depending on the context.
but transcending the concept of higher dimensions can mean transcending the concept of the 6th dimension for example

and that would just give you 7-D

I discussed it with someone else and technically speaking, no, that wouldn't change anything if "concept of higher dimension" is an umbrella term. Obviously, if in-verse it is restrained by something specific, it's another topic.

That would be the case if a character is still in a dimensional space, but not the case if they are in a dimensional world .

That would be the case if a character is still in a dimensional space, but not the case if they are in a dimensional world .
i talk about saneko sarakana from demon babe

To not lose all the work of the people who made the pages, the wiki the profiles are currently on isn't VSBW nor any "affiliate" wiki.

The rules regarding the inclusion of verse are rather self-explanatory:

  • Officially published works that have reached a high level of notability will be considered for inclusion within the VS Battles Wiki. The use of Wattpad and similar fan work sources is prohibited. However, self-published works will also be considered as long as they meet the aforementioned criteria of notability. Additionally, while official translations are preferred, fan translations that are of good and very reliable quality will also be accepted. For works that have not been officially translated, the use of original raw texts and associated translations is preferred, but it should be noted that for fully fan translated works like Visual Novels, Web Novels, etc., it may not be practical or feasible for participants to locate raw texts for the entire work and present them alongside the scan. In situations where the reliability of publicly available material is in question, the analysis of re-translations performed by members of the VSBW may be used as a means of evaluation. However, it should be noted that these translations may not necessarily be considered superior to official translations and should be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
  • It is prohibited to include any personal verses or personal works of VS Debaters within the wiki, except in cases where the work has been officially published by a reputable and well-established company with a significant level of distribution and recognition in the industry. This includes, but is not limited to, large movie productions, major video game releases, and popular comic book runs. For smaller or less-known companies, decisions may be made on a case-by-case basis. It is recommended to consider the level of distribution and recognition in determining whether to include the work in the wiki.
  • It is particularly prohibited to include any verses or personal works of VS Debaters who are ranked highly in Tier 1/0, that primarily focus on powerscaling purely for battleboard purposes.

Powerscalers are really stupid when it comes to writing novels, they make their intentions too obvious. If they actually took the time to write a novel they could use their powerscaling knowledge to create a good power system, but no, they prefer to drop all the nlf shit in a single paragraph.

Even though I don't focus on powerscaling when it comes to my own novels or written works, as someone who has written a romance novel, I'd agree to that, xD

Lol it's actually insane that people here legitimately think The Hidden Wizard is made for powerscaling when it's literally the opposite. The fact powerscalers can't see that it's a parody is proving the point it's trying to make.

"'Hmm, no you're ackshually only high hyper, nowhere sniff close to extraversal,' he said, his voice muffled by the chips in his mouth... but before he could say anything else, he fell to the ground, clutching his chest... 'I never thought I'd die due to complications related to obesity'"

I genuinely can't believe people are taking this seriously.

The fact that it's a parody doesn't take away from the fact that it's crap.
Now it turns out that if it's a parody it justifies not knowing how to write a coherent sentence. That guy in the video does everything possible to make his shitty powerscaling characters relevant and now he wants to apply the "it's just a parody" tactic to not be labeled a powerscaler. Which doesn't work, example: yogiri´s case

Actually, Yogiri isn't a "powerscaling" fiction, it's just people that clearly overestimated the verse and the characters inside. The verse is, in terms of literary value, equal to any other bland isekai with a unique twist in the title/at the beginning.

It's written like shit, sure, but then, isn't most isekais the same?

I expressed myself badly, what I meant was that parodies are not always going to be received "well", just because are parodies

Oh yeah, I agree with this. People tend to throw away "it's a parody" as an attempt to hide the lackluster content of said story. OPM is a "parody" yet I very rarely see people using that fact to argue about the quality of the work, yet for ID, everyone throws the "it's an isekai parody" as if it was the only redeemable quality.
