I have a question about official translations compared to their original counterparts.
Can a translation be used to specify a vaguer statement in the original version? For example, if someone says that they're many times stronger in Japanese, but in English they say they're specifically, say, five times stronger, would it be acceptable for them to be 5x stronger (Assuming the multiplier holds up to the usual scrutiny multipliers need to hold up to)?
