Possible Link upgrade

I have a ton more feats on Composite Link that I would like to put on here, I was told I have to make one of these to get my ideas through.

Ideas:

>Add Hyrule Warriors feats(Silver Gauntlets moving the Earth, Feirce Deity Link one-shotting a Planet Buster, Angry Deity and Vengeful Deity, Focus Spirit, Clawshot reaching the Moon in 1 second, etc.)

>Buff most things in general(Normal Ganondorf is a Planet Buster, him with the entire Triforce is listed as a Planet buster when it should be Multi-Planetary; get rid of the Goddess Sword in his Items because it's literally the Master Sword, but add the Phantom Sword and Lokomo Sword)

>Yuga-Ganon feats should be added(LBW)

>Add Gust Bellows, which can move 7 Donkey Kongs in Smash

>Add Rings from Oracle of Ages/Seasons

>Add Nice Items(LBW)

>Add Link resisting pure insanity(TP)

Etc.

Side question: can Animated Series feats and CD-i feats be used here too?

Lets see...I dont have much knowledge of LoZ so i'll go by what i remember

  • The Hyrule Warriors stuff was actually on there before but was taken off
  • Don't know, someone who knows LoZ would know
  • Not sure why Oracle, LBW, and TP abilities arent on there
  • If there are more feats i wouldnt put etc. you should list them
  • Not sure about the Animated Series or CD-i
  • We don't use SSB feats except in rare cases (Mr. G&W, and C. Falcon)

I cannot find anything substantial in the above post in terms of either specific examples of powers & abilities, or proof of feats/power-scaling.

I know a lot about LoZ, I've beaten 7 games and own much more, including Link's Crossbow Training and I own Hyrule Historia. Also there are already some Animated Series feats on there. I put Etc. because I might think of more later. And the Gust Bellows is practically featless other than being able to vaporize piles of sand from it's wind.

I have to disagree about that Gust Bellows point. Literally its only purpose is to blow small objects around, get rid of sand piles, and rotate inactive turbines. All of these things are something that a real life turbine could do if it had enough force.

In any case, playing a lot of LoZ games isn't that much of a valid argument. I've personally played and completed 12 of the games, and watched let's plays of most of the rest, and I definitely don't assume that I know everything there is to know about LoZ.

In any case, in response to your other points:

The Gauntlets did not move the earth. They simply pulled Link down to Earth when he tugged on the chain. As for the Clawshot, you'd be foolish to think that Majora's Moon is the same distance from Earth as the actual Moon. Try to remember from Majora's Mask. Also, this particular Moon is a lot smaller, making it seem like more of a Summoning ability than actually pulling the real moon. After all, you can do it multiple times in succession, even after the "moon" seemingly shatters.

The Triforce isn't shown to affect anything outside of Hyrule, and so far, there is no definitive proof that Hyrule is the entire Planet. I think it should more be along the lines of "At least Continent level". I would also like proof that Ganondorf is indeed Planet level in base form.

Yuga-Ganon isn't actually shown to have too many feats. At max power, he possesses two of the three Triforce Pieces, and he should supposedly be able to reshape Lorule should he get the whole Triforce. However, the completed Triforce is much more powerful than the sum of its parts. The individual pieces only give power, while the completed Triforce grants any single wish. It is clearly shown from Ocarina of time that Ganondorf with only one piece was only able to destroy Hyrule Castle and the surrounding town, before building his own castle. Everything else remained the same. When Zelda was captured towards the end of that game, Ganondorf technically had two pieces (the same as Yuga-Ganon at the end), but was still shown to have no additional feats, which is why he required Link's piece. My point being, Yuga-Ganon feats are no different than regular Ganon feats, and therefore shouldn't be counted.

When it comes to the Rings, they are useful in Stat Manipulation, but other than that, they don't contribute anything. I see no problem in adding Stat Manipulation to his powers and abilities, though.

Nice items are only a slightly more powerful version of the original item, doing at most two times the damage. Not enough to really make a difference.

I should like a link (no pun indended) to when he resisted insanity. I have played through TP three times and remember no such event.

For the most part, I'm gonna have to agree with Lastar. While some of this stuff is surely worth putting on his profile, those are limited to the Gust Bellows and the Rings, and the former shouldn't have anything to do with Smash. Multi-Planet, or even Planet itself is a somewhat large tier, and as Lastar said, there's no proof for that level of strength for Ganon, other than powerscaling. And while I personally believe in the planet flipping calc, it's not canon, and it is way too controversial.

Are you talking about the Gauntlets' Special Attack?

The Moon was so far away that you couldn't see it, it would make sense if it were that far away with it's size.

Page 71 of Hyrule Historia states that Demise is a Planet Buster, Demise is literally Ganondorf. The full Triforce is several times stronger than he is.

Yuga-Ganon is Ganon(Stronger than Ganondorf), Yuga(Able to rip holes between dimensions), Hilda(Equivalent to Zelda), and two Triforce Pieces all combined together. That's at LEAST Multi-Planet. And Ganondorf didn't have the Trifocre of Wisdom when he fought Link in OT.

Yes, Stat Manipulation for the Rings was actually what I wanted, but they can also turn him into different stuff, such as a Like Like.

All Nice Items multiply the original power by 2x, except the Nice Net and the Nice Lantern, with multiply it by 8x.

Sorry, but I'm afraid that that cutscene was metaphorical. It was literally just Lanayru explaining to Link about how the ancients gave into the power from the interlopers. It had nothing to do with Link (or Ilia for that matter).
