I tried to get a calc for Mask's building-shoving feat some time ago, but I got told by Kep that it wasn't something he could calc. I feel like it should be above baseline, regardless...

Anyway, barring the Finger Hold, does Po have any way around Mask's regen?

Don't think so. He can easily punk Mask with much greater skill, but without Wu Xi fingerhold that Low High says he isn't going to do much.

Well I ask because, while I understand Po is far more skilled in physical combat, Mask isn't a strictly melee character. In fact, he primarily fights using guns, bombs and Toonforce gags, which is (shockingly) something Po has never had to deal with in the capacity that Big Head brings to bear.

Pretty sure there weren't talking pandas and rabbits either but you know...

is Po agile or durable enough to deal with Mask's usage of military weapons? I think Po would be fine dealing with the Toonforce gags, though.

He can deflect projectiles. I don't know if it'll work with bullets however

From what I remember of the KFP movies, he's never deflected machinegun-amounts of projectiles in quick succession before.

Also, not all of Big Head's ranged options are bullet weapons or explosives. He has other things like summoned beasts, sonic scream attacks, guitars that can generate electricity, bottomless cups of coffee...

The Mask also finds its way onto a little girl in that issue, and she spends most of her run changing into popular characters' outfits for absolutely no reason.

It was a weird installment.

I mean, there really isn't much to break down.

Po has better CQC and (until I get that damned feat calc'd) better raw AP, but Mask trumps him in every other area, and has regen that only one of Po's moves can get past.

Mask's arsenal is much too versatile and wacky for Po to get around effectively. I think I'll side with him.

so it really depends on all the possible battle sequences and outcomes....can Po even get close enough consistently for CQC, though? If not, Po is likely screwed.

A move he uses quite consistently, I might add.

I don't think Po can get close more times than not, no.

This is the same character who regularly packs more gun-power in one hand than an entire city police force has in its arsenal. And has I-dunno-how-many Tex Avery gags up his sleeve on top of that.

Yeah, Po's no stranger to deflecting projectiles. His reactions (not speed) scale above the Furious Five who can deal with numerous flaming arrows being shot at them from all directions. Of course, there's the cannonball scene too.

He's also immensely more powerful than 3.6 tons at this point, and Po's durability should be above his AP. Especially since Mask seems to be baseline, he won't be able to harm Po all that much.

Also, Po has the golden lotus clap which is a ranged move which induces blindness, which will allow him to get in range to skadoosh, which he uses fairly often. Given the gap in power and skill, I don't think it'd be too hard for Po to get an opportunity for CQC.

I wouldn't give up on High 8-C Mask just yet, even if that calc is correct. (although I really don't think it's completely valid in its current state, since a lot of people are expressing doubts in the blog comments)

Big Head has other feats that may yield better results. And I also remembered today that there are still 2 or 3 comics I forgot to read when I initially revised his page.
