So, I noticed that Zeus is only listed as hypersonic in his profile, and I find it rather odd, since there are some calcs that put even ordinary Pegasus at mach 56.

And replicas of Herme's sandals at mach mach 3392.5.

Also, when Percy asked Hermes about the god's teleportation, Hermes said that it wasn't teleport, just extremely fast movement through the air. Gods can use this to move around the planet seemengly instantly, so there's that.

And why is his range universal?

I am afraid that I cannot help you out. I am not informed about the series. However, if Zeus is scalable to Hermes, I suppose that an upgrade might be in order.

He should somewhat scale for being the strongest Olympian.

And there's that traveling through the planet instantly thing.

Well, Hermes was the god of speed, whereas Zeus specialisation was power and lightning. They do not necessarily scale to each other.

They weren't really Hermes' sandals, iirc. Just replicas that he gave to his son. I don't think that he would give something on the level of his own godly equipment to a demigod, especially since gods are pretty damn sensitive about other people using their stuff.

Could work on that basis, but I don't really agree with high hypersonic demigods, so I didn't use that argument.

Hmm. I really question why his range is universal. Like i don't read the novels of this (only by movies), but a 6-A god having universal range with nothing to base it on seems pretty fishy to me.

IDK, would HHS+ Zeus work at the very least? Or should we scale him to MHS+ via the replica's of Herme's sandals?

They are pretty damn consistently shown to be much slower. When Arion was moving at super sonic speeds, no one could see a thing. Arion is super sonic and is the speedester of the group, the giants have an extremely hard time catching him, and the demigods just don't outspeed the giants.

I consider the lightning feat either an outlier, or the cause of some weird unknown mechanic regarding children of Jupiter.

Hmm. I do not really know the property well enough to make a good call here, but we have usually based most speed levels on the characters' highest showings.

Generally speaking, we don't see the Marvel characters moving at anywhere near the speeds that we have assigned to them either.

So, Promestein's suggestion might be an idea, or we could just place the Percy Jackson characters at Unknown speed levels.

While that is a good point, we usually don't consider a character being slower than where their feats put them just because another character is faster and can break the sound barrier. Arion being supersonic and faster than the demigods =/= below supersonic demigods. Arion could just be MHS while the demigods are HH+, for example.

The Gods fought the Giants in their Human Forms, not their true godly forms. I mean I belueve Hermes told percy that their "teleportation" was fast movement that was Faster than Light and that the windgods that protect olympus are faster or something. I'm gonna look for the page.
