@Monarch
Okay, basically...
Hades' curse is that whatever attack it gives to you remain as an eternal wound in your soul.

This is why Seiya remained catatonic even though his body was fully healed, it was as if he had the sword piercing his body all the time.

Seiya eventually gained the ability to move and fight again, though the majority of his cosmos is spend on keeping the wound from killing him. He sorta kept himself alive "through sheer will"

However, he still feels the equivalent pain of having his heart pierced with a sword, and fighting requires a lot of exertion from him. Burning his cosmos is akin to opening a sewn wound by stretching your muscles.
It's a very difficult feat to quantify.
Basically, Seiya constantly has his very soul pierced by a 2-C weapon, and is always keeping himself alive through sheer willpower. However, he can still be damaged by lesser attacks.
However, at peak condition, without Hades' curse (Which is the Seiya the fight is using), Seiya wouldn't be so weakened, and it would take an attack on Hades' level or so to incapacitate him completely.
Seiya's a bit like Frisk, in which the amount of AP needed to permanently put him down is far greater than the AP required to harm him. Seiya even lampshades it in Assassin, stating to his enemy that "Hurting me will only make me more dangerous", because his Cosmos / Will is such that he just keeps himself alive despite impossible odds.
