One Piece Post-Timeskip Scaling and Calcs #6

I'll have to get back into this in the morning, but the manga doesn't suggest it was snowing on Drum Island and then stopped the second Ace arrived.

All it says is that it didn't snow that day.

And that summary of the novel just says that the snow melted when Ace arrived, and that a snowstorm comes after he leaves. There is almost nothing you can connect to the Drum Island feat using that.

This isn't just nitpicking; I'm saying there isn't enough reasonable basis behind the calc as it stands.

Also, the bird-cage changes are ridiculous. We already discussed in several threads that using 6 slices is inaccurate as a later panel shows the meteorite in more pieces with visible cuts on areas where it is still connected. Not to mention that would mean there'd be a giant hole in the bird-cage, which there isn't.

Change the value back, immediately. I'll make a CRT otherwise.

@damage It's a lowball if we take in consideration that alabasta is in the GL and saying it's as wide as the GL is a lowball for the size of the GL

A never ending process, is it?
For a verse as big and as long-running as One Piece, there's bound to be never-ending discussions about it.

We've made a lot of progress though.

I want to make people remember that this was supposed to be for the KM and people who has been working on this since the beginning. We forgot about that again.

Alrighty - Stefano4444 Beanstalk and Upperyard size was evaluated and accepted and the other calc that associated with the downgrade as well. - New found size of Upper Yard and Beanstalk

Enel's Theoretical Raigou - Enel's attack is 7.2 Gigatons [Island level]

Wiper's Reject Dial - The Reject Dial is accepted as 179.7 or 180 Tons of TNT via Wood Pulverization [Multi-City Block level], this also affects the 8-B characters who backscales to this, making them at 17.9 or 18 Tons of TNT [City Block]

Luffy Disperse Raigou - Which value wasn't chosen but both math was correct so I assume the highest 204.5 or 205 Kilotons [Large Town level]

So... "7-C, High 7-C with Rapid Firing Techniques" for Skypeia Arc Luffy?
Or "7-C, High 7-C with Golden Peony" which is the name for the specific technique with the giant mass of gold on the end of his fist.

I think it's clear that the huge mass of gold is enhancing the power of his hits so Luffy's ordinary attacks wouldn't be that strong.

The Gold ball was just absorbing the electricity in the Raigo, not contributing to its destruction. I have already told you when the feat first came out.

Hmm, after looking at the SBS answer Oda gave, he definitely seems to imply that the discharge through the gold ball is the reason why the Kingdom Come / Raigou disappeared.

Not the force of Luffy's punches scattering the clouds, but just the discharge of the Kingdom Come into the Gold Ball is the reason behind it. This might come down to us differing with the author's own interpretation, but in this case 'absorbing the electricity' = 'Raigou's destruction' according to Oda.

Also; whether you agree with that or not, Luffy's punches would undoubtedly be harder hitting due to the mass of the gold ball on the end of his fist. So Luffy's ordinary attacks can't be fully scaled to the calc of Luffy's attacks with the golden ball attached to him.

I'm pretty certain that it snows on Drum every single day. They noted it was strange as it had not snowed that day.
Exaclty, Drum's entire sky had always been show to be heavy cover by snow clouds due of be a Winter Island, where winter is the only existing season in the island.

Not all of the time, and not over the entire island.

Look here at the Straw Hats entering Drum Island for the first time. Sure, there are a couple of clouds over the island but not heavy coverage over the entire place.

From what I can tell the calc assumes Ace destroyed clouds covering the entire island.

That could be an art inconsistency. In any other instance the weather is snowy.

If we don't use the entire island we should assume that Ace made holes in the clouds above the towns.

The weather can still be snowy without the entire island being covered in clouds. And art inconsistency is a stretch; we've had multiple shots of Drum Island without it being entirely cloudy.

The last one shows a cloud that's pretty high in the sky. I calculated that some time ago and the upper distance is around 34km, meaning that clouds are able to exist there. First and second scans are legit, but the third one doesn't show the island from far away to say if there's no clouds at all. It could be way higher than that.

But this would open the question: If there's no clouds in the island, how would snow at all?

I never said there's no clouds on the island; clouds come and go. And a cloud doesn't need to cover the whole island for part of the island to experience snow.

It just means it isn't snowing 24/7.

Judging by the supplied pics of the island/clouds I have to agree with Damage. Unless there are more pictures, Drum Island is not close to 100% covered in clouds 100% of the time.

Calaca has revised my calc for Oven's Hot Sea Hell using the official measurements of the Thousand Sunny.

If it is accepted, then the results of a few Whole Cake Island characters may possibly change.

It was pretty good of Calaca to do it.

It had slipped my mind that the Oven calc could be affected by the official measurements of the Thousand Sunny being released recently.

Well I apologize if that came across offensively. I was just citing my surprise.

Off the top of my head (if this gets accepted) the effected profiles would be Daifuku, Pero, Sanji, and the other Vinsmokes yes?

Good idea, I'm looking forward to the results.

I'm getting started on my own research right now and should hopefully have some fresh, new calcs in a couple days.

I believe the decision is what is currently on his profile; it doesn't count as his ordinary AP but it does count towards his durability; and his AP for when he is inside a giant stone golem.

Well, Zoro's Dressrosa calc is about to be updated to City level+, so with a rating of At least City level+, likely higher I think that would be a fair rating for him.

We have agreed that at least City level+, likely Mountain level is what Zoro's profile will have. Pica's feat scales to his durability only when his AP would be Likely City level+ along with the rest of the people who scales to them (Vergo, Sanji, Diamante, etc).
