One Piece General Discussion: Elbaph

a bunch of things are outdated, mid tiers/high tiers getting downgraded, while god tiers probably getting upgraded to 6-B+
whats the mid/high tier downgrade scaling coming from? my only guess is dressrosa cuz thats basically where all of post timeskip scaling relies on. and whats with the god tier upgrades.

Mid tiers downgrading because Dressrosa is tiny (apparently), God tiers are scaling over Fujitora's 6B+ due to Fujitora's meteorite calc and Akainu scaling over it via Oda's statement of him having the highest offense, meaning anyone comparable to him (WB) and anyone comparable to that who scales will scale over that value. (or High 6B if the Luffy/Kaido clash timeframe is determined), and a lot of the top tiers will be revised to be LS or FTL based on a thread made recently...Ish.

mhm, i lowkey agree with both the upgrade and downgrade for both tiers. could u link the LS/FTL thread plz.

Should Niji have invisibility? He used a stealth ability here:

so god tiers are 6B+ but a possible high 6-B if an impressive timeframe is given.
would it be a baseline 6B+ upscale or is there an actual 6B+ feat.
The 6B+ feat is Fujitora's meteorite being at 60+ teratons, and the Yonko scaling over it. I don't remember the entirety of the thread, but there was an argument of Yonko one handed= the feat. Two handed Yonko 2X> the feat. (Although I'm sure with either busoshoku or advanced conqueror's is enough to be at least twice as high)
The high 6B is Luffy and Kaido's cloud dispersal. Initially it was 6B, but we're waiting for the anime timeframe, and based on the Opening (even though we're waiting for the episode, so only speculation for now) it happened in less than a second, which gives both Luffy and Kaido high 6B ratings. But that's likely going to wait, since I doubt the anime will get there before the revisions. 6B+ for sure-- High 6B MAYBE.

Either way, if a x2 multiplier is confirmed after the high 6B if it's accepted, OP is hitting 6A 👀

Mhm I see, that’s cool, I’m confused on the multiplier tho…

The two handed yonko one? Same. I'd say they scale "higher", but giving it a x2 would be a little off.
Although depending on what Busoshoku or conqueror's coating's multiplier is, it's likely over x2. Buso haki on G2 makes Luffy jump a tier. And Conqueror's Coating from Kaido one shotted Roof Luffy on round 1 even though Luffy took a TB and some moments later, so it's definitely higher.

The scale itself comes from the fact that WB without confirmed usage of Busoshoku or Haoshoku coating scales to Akainu, who scales over Fujitora offensively. This also doesn't include whatever the multiplier for Hybrid Kaido is, as I believe the discussion was held before that was revealed.

Mhm I see, it’s just that’s a very random 2 handed 2x multiplier but I guess I see the point. Thx.

Thankfuly I don't think it's accepted anyway. The Hybrid/Haoshoku/Busoshoku amps make far more sense than 1 handed/2 handed
Indeed, I’m still confused on 1 handed 2 handed. Are we talking about there hands physically being the multiplier?

Found this
Maybe a lot of upgrades

Since Aokji's page was brought up, I wanted to point out that I've noticed that in his Busoshoku Haki section it doesn't mention that he blocked Whitebeard's quake using Goken along with Akainu and Kizaru (while both their Busoshoku sections does mention it on their pages).

Hell if I know- I guess a Yonko swinging with two hands is twice as strong as a Yonko swinging with one arm?? Or something like that.

Feel free to link. The only redone WB calcs I've seen are the higher value KT (I believe) did and will be added during the god tier revisions

If you cant see it,let me post it here
Whitebeard's Kabutowari
The feat
SnKvFfC.png
1e9Lnle.png

Whitebeard KOed a Vice Admiral with a Quake powerful enough to have its aftershocks be perceptible to a human well off into the distance beyond Marineford.

As you might be able to tell, the farmer's able to tell the Earthquakes are occurring during the day, outdoors, much as described as being a magnitude 4-4.9 from where they're located.

Now we need an estimate for the distance that the island is from the epicenter. What we must note for this method is that there are no islands around Marineford about from Sabaody. More precisely, there is nothing in the triangle that links the three locations, Marine HQ, Impel Down and Enies Lobby.

Additionally though?

The Island was apparently remote enough where it had no clue that Whitebeard was even in a naval conflict with Marineford, despite every sea in

the setting discussing the issue like its the ******* apocalypse, so it seems like a generous low end to suggest just somewhere vaguely off panel is functionally how far away the remote island is from Marineford proper. Mind you, the direction isn't defined, so I just used the 3 chosen for the purpose of serving as our approximations.

Distance to Remote Island (Option 3) = 53,569,782.32 meters or 33,286.72 miles

So, how does this help us?

First it is relevant to define the term epicenter as it is a word that will be prevalent throughout this blog.

Epicenter: The point on the earth's surface vertically above the focus of an earthquake.

The epicenter is on the surface of the Earth and as Whitebeard's quakes are on the surface also it should eliminate any queries on the validity of the formulas we will be using here concerning his quakes.

Where A(mm) is the height of the largest seismic wave (s wave) in millimeters (mm) and delta(t) is the S-P time difference.

Look to GM's version for what I'll use as the s wave height (5000 mm)

Don't tell me to scale Marineford, or really anything, in One Piece from giant characters like little Ors Jr (after the last set of retcons, he sits at 60 meters officially after a retcon/revision [ctrl + f "627"] that changed it from the original 38 meters ) or Sanjuan Wolf (stated official height of 180 meters ).

Let's use the Thousand Sunny (56 meter tall) and characters that have been around the Sunny for a demonstration. Oars? Is a massive Ouroboros where he's officially barely taller than the Thousand Sunny ( 67 meters after most recent retcon from 39 meters),yet he and his descendant are somehow about the size of a marine battleship that dwarf the sunny

How about Surume ( 300 meters w/tentacles extended) and Wadatsumi 80 meters )

As you might be able to tell from this gallery here using the Thousand Sunny as the de-facto measuring stick of the series... its easy to see anything beyond 10 meters in official height generally seems to suffer some kind of exaggeration compared to more reliable measuring sticks. I can pretty much demonstrate this for most Giant Named Characters (which I'm more than happy to continue gathering galleries for going forward).

In lieu of considering that, I'm going to use the Moby Dick because the Thousand Sunny decided to make a no show and Whitebeard is otherwise to scale compared to Luffy.

Not gonna lie, never seen it before. But the wiki's likely going to call anything above 6-A for high tiers outlier until further showings. Feel free to make a thread and see where it goes, but I doubt it'll be considered. Enel's moon explosion in his cover story has been basically ignored as well, and I doubt that's lower than 6-A either.

Coincidentally one of that guy's calcs include 62 teratons for Fujitora. Idk if it's for the same feat as the wiki's, but it's still a fun coincidence that the current high 6-B/Potential 6B+ is being accepted based off the 62 TT feat and everything that scales higher.

Planet Diameter = 452,621.424 kilometers
Where this from?

Also using things like these (top right)
https://****************/wp-content/uploads/WP-manga/data/manga_617f9817c8904/0041fc76dd904c316fee7f3e92fc443e/053.jpg
Isn't accurate at all

Anyway, I'm the same as monkey on the diameter of the world. Our world's is 12756.2 kilometers, and assuming One Piece's planet to have larger size, even if it is based on the islands and whatnot, is not accepted either.
Waiting for either a confirmed size by the author OR a confirmed canon size when Nami finishes her map (In a thousand years) is the best choice for now. I wish Oda was just straight forward and gave us island sizes tbh, but I think Alabasta's river was the last "distance" of anything we got based on size and not time.

Tech which Enel destroyed in one shot.
Tech which has no reason to scale to its AP. Tech which might literally be a big bomb, Tech that could be charged up for the result, Tech which does it via unconvientional means, Tech which might not even be the same tech as what caused the explosion
