W, I mean Kaido's design and character intro to me is definitely better than shanks, and with shanks... he has a better frightening aura and more interesting character complexity/depth to him than kaido

Overall as a character... 🤔 I actually don't fully know which is better

I guess my expectations with Kaido was higher in a way (He does have the strongest creature title). I expected more insane/ridiculous strength feats... More like Yujiro but more fantasy I guess. Instead it was more tanking and enduring while he's trying to find a worthy attack/opponent (Which is a Yujiro type but still not really strength feats), I still don't know all of what kaido has done but still

Cloud split and Island carry is the only strength feats I know of from Kaido which I do like (And this but nothing crazy OP wise as Luffy and the monster trio has done something similar multiple times)
Youre w kaido fan 🐒🙂

One of the best, if not the best character introduction in all of anime/manga from what I've seen 💥✋😶‍🌫️🤚💥

✋🐵🤚

Didn't really ask
I was just offering an opinion.
but who you think has a better character introduction?
I think there've been some pretty good ones. A lot of people would cite Madara vs the Shinobi Alliance as one of the best ones, but might not necessarily be better. Future Trunks killing Frieza was a classic, but kinda requires you to already knew what's going on. There's also Jotaro calling his mom a bitch, shotgunning a beer, then shooting himself in the head, which was a good bit. I think another contender is Aizen faking his own death.

None of these are necessarily better, but some are definitely even contenders.

But honestly? While it's not really fair, since it's like, the intro to the whole thing, I'd put Roger's first appearance over Kaidou's.

All I got is more proof of kaido's intro being the best ✋😴🤚 (Don't know the Jotaro thing tho)

🤔... Yee not really fair, that's more an intro to the show, not just about the character.... But a fine opinion to have

loki is this arc's princess, just like law was in dressrossa btw. Now who could the actual big bad be

That would be based but oda doesn't care about the alliance enough to dedicate the arc to Jajrudin. His writing is rather popularity influenced nowadays isn't it?
No, people just say that. Every arc ever except Reverie has been a Luffy arc, but that doesn't mean other characters can't do shit.

Not really, the writing is just too heavily centered on Luffy in the last few Arcs. Wano was absolutely horrible in this respect

Rather than luffy I mean other popular characters. Think Law, Yamato, Zoro, Sanji, etc. Pre timeskips we had examples of oda reusing minor side characters for focus like hachi and bon clay, not so much post Dressrossa

Well, post-TS, he had a lot more MAJOR side characters.

I thought that MonkeyOfLife said that it would be of interest to him.
