It should be for the 3rd Gate and up as the CE statement is for the Hidden Lotus, but that good ol wording of strength rather than physical abilities is keeping it away

Late response but the Minato lightspeed statement is about Flying Raijin, the water bullet one is hyperbolic, and the Kirin one doesn’t do anything for scaling even if it’s taken literally, aka Kirin doesn’t help any scaling consistency.

Further light - The Divine Tree could suck Edo Tensei chakra as it did Edo Madara's when the roots crossed his path.

However, the Shinju roots didn't instinctively go after Edo Tensei Zombies.

A possibility is that the edo sealing jutsu protects the dead souls from being sensed by the Divine Tree.

That possibility will probably be reinforced in the Boruto manga when the details of how the chakra(life force) of already dead humans, plants and animals (as stated by Isshiki and Jura) are consumed by the Shinju Tree.
 
My speculation

The War Arc Ten Tails already contained Kaguya's soul and chakra. Shoild be the reason why it developed into a Shinju, albeit not immediately. And probably why it was bulky from the start and getting bulkier too.
Kaguya's soul might have taken over and she became the Shinju (instead of using karma to escape) at the cost of losing her mind to some extent.

Boruto's Ten Tails was devoid of Otsutsuki chakra till Isshiki's chakra (or even Shibai's) got integrated via Code's claw mark. However, neither Isshiki or Shibai's soul was contained in it. It probably took three years to become a Shinju which resulted in the Hitoshinju.

For the people who think the Sannin were in their prime when they fought Hanzo, do you think Hanzo was massively weaker when the Deva Path and Konan wiped his soldiers and then killed him, or do you think those two could stomp the Prime Sannin with no damage?

I thought about it but I don't think so. FTG doesn't have a set speed to begin with, it's just teleportation. Even if it isn't instant, it still wouldn't have a conventional speed as it'd take the same amount of time regardless of the distance.

The statement referring to a technique/techniques can just mean he's unavoidable when he uses FTG to stab someone off-guard which is a common tactic of his. This is consistent with how Minato using FTG in tandem with his attacks is referred to as part of his battle techniques.

Calling the blade "unavoidable" in the first place casts doubt on it referring to FTG too, as it isn't even an attack on its own, just a means of transportation.

Hanzo was confirmed to have been out of his prime by the time Pain killed him.

As for the Sannin that Hanzo fought, if I'm not mistaken, SFT Tsunade was referred to as rusty. So you could argue 2nd and 3rd War era Sannin should likely scale to that level. Which makes sense 'cause even current day Jiraiya couldn't fathom how any single person could defeat Hanzo on their own. So I think (Prime) Hanzo still being somewhat relative to the current Sannin, at least without their newly acquired super forms in the case of Tsunade and Orochimaru, makes a bit of sense maybe.

October is upon us, and I promised ya'll some CRTs. But decisions have to be made.

As you all know, due to Chakra no longer being considered a UES, major adjustments have to be made to the verse's AP.
This applies to both the Tier 8 Part I characters, as well as all of the Tier 7 Part II characters. Funnily enough, both of them are scaled from Sasuke's Katons.
So that's something that needs to be handled, but it should be relatively simple because it'll mostly be value swaps. Not a ton of adjustments will be made to the scaling.
Tier 6 and above won't be touched either as we went through painstaking trouble to make sure their scaling is based on feats, so they're not affected.

Then there's speed, of course. We already did Part I speed earlier this year, which leaves Part II and beyond.

So the question is: would you guys prefer it if we did speed first or AP? I'll make two posts after this one. Feel free to like the option you'd prefer to start the revisions off with. I mainly want to gauge what the masses want here. Cause I personally don't really care much either way. Both need to be done, and will be done eventually.

I'm a bit late but Chakra Blog would be my vote.

It has the most interesting ramifications from a revamp and is probably the subject that gets touched on the least on-site besides Speed and LS, and honestly, who cares that deeply about speed when it gets equalized more often than not anyway.

There are also just a lot of people who don’t know what Chakra is, supporters who confuse others trying to explain it in vs matches, or people who try to goon about what chakra can and can't do.

Definitely the most beneficial CRT of the group, at least imo.

I hear you. And like I said before, I'm gonna be working on the Chakra blog on the side while I'm doing the other stuff because I need it accepted for my nefarious plans to bear fruit. 😈

But Speed and AP take precedence because speed has been "awaiting revision" for 5 years at this point. And the AP ratings are just straight up wrong at this point due to the changes to UES. So I feel like those things are a bit more urgent, even if the chakra blog will be more beneficial in the long run.

TL;dr, Chakra blog wasn't one of the options, so go vote properly you goon.
