It's equally as bad as Sakura punching Kaguya. You could make an half-assed excuse that Boruto got amped by the Jougan. Meanwhile, Sakura only got there because of Kakashi's susanoo dropping her like bird poop.

Naruto with a single active clone (50% of his Chakra) is not enough to support Obito opening portals to other dimensions, but with the aid of Sakura's Byakugao seal he says that Sakura's help will give him the bare minimum to search for Sasuke:

Kaguya detects them and attacks them, so Naruto creates a bazillion clones to distract Kaguya, and Sakura has to power the portals to other dimensions all on her own:

Obito says that connecting to other dimensions is an incredible feat for Kaguya. And Zetsu confirms that Kaguya teleporting people around her are taxing for her Chakra reserves:

Like for real, the Otstsuki are barking at the wrong tree. They should be hunting down Sakura instead of Bijuu and Jinchūriki.
And Sakura damaged Kaguya after Sakura expended her Chakra so much she collapsed, and can no longer maintain the portals.


She obviously needs Stealth Mastery added to her profile. She earned it by her own effort as a Shinobi.

All I'm hearing here is that Sakura is a sigma female.
 
I think part of the reason why people find the scaling for Sakura to be so hard to believe is that the series never really focuses on her, and Kishimoto not knowing how to write female characters plays a role in that as well. Shippuden primarily highlights the journey's of Naruto and Sasuke, but we never really see things like Sakura training with Tsunade, nor do we get to see her doing battle against powerful opponents. It doesn't mean it's not happening, though.

Do I believe Sakura earned her strength? Yes.

Do I believe Kishimoto could have done a better job at giving more for us to see to highlight the growth in strength she has, whether by showcasing her training or having her fight against more opponents than just Sasori? Also yes.

Stop the Sakura downplay.
 
Narratively it also doesn't make sense for her to be so strong, she claimed she couldn't beat Juubito, even 1-eyed Juudara made her sweat cold, there's a lot more bs going on in Kaguya's arc than just Sakura throwing a punch on her, the whole DMS Kakashi thing is also a big bs.
 
Honestly I don't think Kishimoto is thinking the durability of characters works like when Krillin was trying to hurt Perfect Cell and Cell just stood there taking zero damage or like how when Ichigo couldn't cut Kenpachi or whatever.

kishi thinks 99% of the cast are relative to one another physically, only people with cloaks, Armour jutsu's,amps ect are different

Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. There's so many examples contrary to that notion, like Obito overpowering KCM Naruto, Blind Madara bodyslamming SM Naruto, Base Bee clowning 3T Sasuke and catching Suigetsu's sword with his bare hands, OM Obito stopping Suigetsu's sword swing with the back of his hand, Base BoS Sasuke blowing up part of Orochimaru's hideout just by flexing and sending Sai onto his knees, Pain catching SM Jiraiya's punch casually, Kakashi sending Sasuke flying with a punch despite Sasuke blocking it, and I could go on and on. There's some examples of what you're talking about, but it really doesn't compare to how many there are showing that Kishimoto does understand powerscaling.

It is good that they took this to its logical conclusion. Early in the series they were like: 'Boruto is so lonely because Naruto gets so tired from office work he can't sustain a clone to spend time with his son'.

Momoshiki was weakened by Nardo and Sauce and all Boruto did was knock him off his feet with a rasengan he didn't know existed.
Sakura was said multiple times to be around their level, was shown multiple times to have as much chakra as someone on their tier when she powered up Obito(A feat he said Naruto's 50% clone wasn't able to achieve) and her entire fighting style revolves around her putting the maximum amount of chakra she has in every strike.
So again, how is it inconsistent?

Momoshiki just took an intense beating then powered himself up a bit for one attack JUST to lose a dojutsu right after.
He is clearly not at his peak AND STILL all Boruto managed to do was move him back a few inches using the momentum of his Boruto stream.
 
Where do you guys read the Naruto manga with VIZ translation? I know there's that Manga PLUS app, but it only has the first and most "recent" chapters available.

It is inconsistent because Sakura at 100% physical form, with 100% chakra and Byakugou active was declared to be around the level of Naruto KM1 and Sasuke EMS. These versions of them are around Mountain Level, while Kaguya is Planet. And to make it even worse, Sakura spent a huge amount of chakra when she opened the dimensions with Obito and was without Byakugou, that is, the base Sakura without Byakugou and exhausted injured one character 5-B, if you don't see inconsistency in that...

It makes the whole thing worse. In fact, Byakugou's multiplier only exists after the seal is opened, and she didn't open it. So if the statement talked about her with the seal off, then it was her base form... It was the same sakura from the beginning of the war without any upgrade, that makes the statement doubtful as hell, it means that she from the beginning of the war was already stronger than the Sage Naruto... Kishimoto really is horrible in strenght statements between the characters, he has all that confusion in relation to Juubidara/Juubito with Hagoromo, and he also said in an interview that Old Hiruzen had Minato's level.

Byakugō no In = Sel's name

Sōzō Saisē = regeneration jutsu

Byakugō No In: Kai = Seal released only on the forehead

Byakugō no In: Sōzō Saisē = Seal released chakra by the whole body and she regenerates without using seals

There is only statement of stat increase when the seal is opened, there is no proof that simply awakening the seal provide some upgrade. In short, she was in base form as she didn't open the seal.
