Why would natural lightning only have one set speed? It varies based on various conditions. Zetsu's statement shouldn't amp every lightning feat in the verse, but at the same time it does fall within the realms of plausible speed.

Even if the specifics are questionable like the height of the clouds, Kirin itself falls in the range for natural lightning speed.
I like this

I think he is referring to calcs currently in use.

Which is more. We are using the accepted calc for Sumire already and idk about Konohomaru's yet and Shino's

A Downgrade thread which finally turn into a Global Upgrade for a Verse
lol
Technically speaking nothing has actually changed.

If upgrades are being proposed, that's a different topic for discussion.

@TheFinalOrder; that would imply that lightning takes the exact same amount of time to travel to the ground regardless of how high up the lightning starts.
This is why i keep saying we should use an average the distances

Even though the factors influencing Sasuke's and other thunderstorms should suggest a higher end for distance, hell Lightning forms in the upper ends of the cloud which should easily reach into 30,000 feet to 50,000 feet which is consistent with the average distance that we would get

The distance of 1000 meters we use is very lowballed.

Whatever happened to kid balls lol?

But yes I agree 1000 feet is the absolute lowest of the low considering what Tata said about the upper ends of clouds ranging from 30K feet to 50K feet

The Kirin calc has actually been getting downplayed through everything going on

I think this can be closed. What's in the OP has been addressed.

The specifics about the unrelated topics that weren't brought up in the OP can be hashed out in a separate thread.

Strongly agree with Tata┬▓.

Even the common Raitons have several criteria for owning the speed of the common lightning and try to separate them individually, with the clear intention of lowering the criteria that the Raiton meets, to possibly downgraded them based on it, is completely bizarre.

Damage is supposed to do that according to Ant.
No, I'm making a calc group thread for different calcs.
