I follow Ashley through the portal.

When you step through the portal, you find yourself in a large shopping mall, though it seems to be cleared of almost all people.

"It seems we have arrived at Ikea"

I look around for anything weird.

"And we can take stuff we are in need of it seems"

All of the shops are empty or locked, the only thing you can see inside of is a blockbuster store.

On the floor below there appears to be a row of massage chairs with a blanket covering one.

"Huh, apparently Blockbuster still exists in this universe."

"Truely the strangest timeline..."

"Let's check if there's anything out of the ordinary in that shop. "

I then go the Blockbuster and enter.

You see horrific things.

VHSs

And a dead man behind the counter.

I then start checking the store for anything interesting.

Let's see if the dead guy had anything notable on him, or any signs of what exactly happened. Not that I know squat about detective work.

@WHY and Overlord You find a few VHS tapes that seem naughty and a book labled "Empress Theresa"

@DMUA You see nothing on the body of the worker, but you see a small glint on the floor next to him.

You find some expired peanuts.

I check the contents of the book.

[Naughty in the way that most VHS stores don't have these out in the open.]

Reading the book for a few seconds, you double over in pain from a migraine you get from it.

You have to lean behind the counter to reach it, but it seems to be a note of some sort.

It's a hand written note, a small sticker on it that shines.

"if you are reading this, I request you are hit in the face"

An unknown object knocks you in the face afterwards, bringing you to the floor and hurting like hell.

I go check if Keane is OK, while still suffering a bit from the migraine.

Me: wait, you haven't said anything in awhile, have you?

Kamina: I figured it would get annoying if I kept talking through everything mudane that's happened since last time.

Me: Yeah, seems on point. Anyways...

I get up and see what that thing was

The body of the employee jumps up and runs out the door.

I pinch myself, to check if I'm sleeping.

Too confused to think about how that guy might indirectly cause the end of the entire multiverse, I just let him run off.

"Homeless guy, I got them!" You hear him scream in the distance.

Outside of the store there is nothing, only the same closed stores and the chair with the tarp on it below.

I grab my revolver.

While being careful and stating on alert for any sound, I go check the chair

It's a little hard to tell much about it, as it's covered in a tarp.

I try to remove the tarp

It comes off, revealing a chair with the large hole in the seat.
