Final tally: "Bigger" guy's book has a volume of 3207.6 centimeters, and "Thicker" guy's book has a volume of approximately 4918.182 cubic centimeters.
So if you believe my miserably muddled math, "Thicker" guy wins! (But a recalc might be needed, & probably from someone else.)
