And also apparently he was at the Jinsei, he stated that he was feeling great and Raiden states that this is an effect of the Jinsei, so is possible that it helped Takeda

Also Raiden could have Type 2 Immortality since he was given multiple lethal injuries including a stab wound from Takeda that went through him, getting his jaw cracked and getting choked with a metal chain around his neck. Despite this, Raiden still survived these wounds.
