Link has Animal Manipulation on his profile. He shouldn't.
The reason on the profile is that he can tame horses very quickly. However, it's implied that it's really not difficult to tame a wild horse at all, and is significantly easier than it is in real life, through various interactions with NPCs (the first thing that comes to my mind is the two kids outside of Dueling Peaks Stable). Occam's Razor would dictate that the horses in Hyrule are simply far easier to tame than real horses, especially given that Link can't "manipulate" other animals like goats, boars, wolves, etcetera into liking him.
