Since Annihilarrgh got Soul destruction Alien x must get resistance to Soul destruction
Alien x resistance to Soul Destruction (Survived the destruction of the entire Universe by the Annihilarrgh which destroyed Anodites, Anodites are a free-spirited race of humanoid energy beings from the planet Anodyne. Check the Anodite Physiology for better information.)

They are spirits as they destroy their physical bodies in order to free their spirits, and it has been shown that they are actual spirits as Gwen was separating her soul from her body using astral projection, her Anodite form appeared to us which shows us that Anodites are the souls of mana users.

They literally said it, Verdona literally tells Gwen to destroy her body and free the anodite inside him and the word "Free Anodite" is a reference to "Free Spirits".

Astral projection is literally the ability to separate your soul from your body not for "visual representation of her astral projection", and that's what literally shows here that Gwen separates her soul (anodite) from her body.

Annihilarg was able to destroy anodites (souls/sprits) that's why it got soul destruction on the same reason Annihilarg couldn't destroy Alien x's soul which should get the resistance about soul destruction just like the other abilities Alien x resist to Annihilarg's
