A normal middle schooler took a hit from someone with the same powers as this guy without any broken bones (Though they were sent flying). And it's not an outlier because it's the only feat normal humans have in the series.

That is not how that works. By no means should we assume that character was swinging full force, or that kid would be a fine red mist--or, alternatively, that literally any random strength trainer/body builder in Gunvolt could wreck Viper's shit due to being massively stronger and tougher than any random middle schooler who survived a full force hit from Viper without dying.

Here's the quote it's from:

"He began to chase down the perpetrator. In that next moment, the bandanna-wearing man threw something in Rei's direction. Rei only caught a glimpse of it, but he was certain that what he could see was a some sort of strange spherical object that was flashing red. He could only assume that it had to be something dangerous and that coming into contact with it would be bad news.

Rei ascertained that there was nobody else was around him, kicked his feet off the ground and leaped aside as hard as he could. The red ball was flying in an arc that was heading right for the spot Rei was standing in.

The moment the strange object hit the ground, a massive blaze burst forth and began to spread rapidly. The blast sent Rei flying.

"Gyaaaaaaaah!"

Next thing Rei knew, he was hurling into the shelves of a nearby clothing store. Fortuntely for him, all of the clothes hanging up acted as a pseudo net and helped cushion the impact. His pledge to always protect his sister came in handy as he was more prepared to deal with a situation like this. He managed to escape without any serious wounds or broken bones.
"

He wasn't directly hit by the explosion, but was still sent flying, which is where High 8-C+ comes from. Humans are pretty consistantly considered a threat to Adepts, as well. In one Drama CD, a group of humans more or less slaughtered a group of Adepts. Most Adept bosses also weaponize themselves before the fight with some sort of item.

But, enough derailing.

I don't think so, didn't he deal with her only because of his skill... And she has no better feats
She's portrayed as being a better fighter and if by "deal with her" you mean "manage to come out alive" yes.

Edelweiss is canonically more skilled than Ikki despite lacking any feat. And yes, Ikki barely survived their match, so he didn't really "deal with her".

Also, that logic is literally the logic of this one person in my D&D party. They roll to seduce pratically everything we fight.
