You know thinking about it, I think Mordo tells Wanda about what Strange did while leaving out important context to make him look worse and turn her against Strange. She’s unstable and extremely powerful so I could see Mordo trying to use her against Strange to get rid of him and he could just claim innocence, people would believe him in the face of a deranged evil witch.
